Karen Anderson was the clear standout after I diligently interviewed three other agents to sell our…read morebeloved Carson home after owning same for over 50 years. She was immediately the most credible: prepared, data‑driven, and confident without any salesy pressure. She's an old‑school professional using today's technology to drive results. We appreciated her weekly updates without having to ask. We had just two weeks to prep the house, including a full exterior paint job, and Karen made the entire process turnkey. She hired and coordinated all the vendors so we didn't have to search or manage anyone ourselves, including a digital video tour that really showcased the property online. She obtained our pre‑approval for every expense before moving forward and stayed within our projected budget, which we greatly appreciated. One of the biggest selling points was Karen having her own staging furniture. But because of the size and layout of our house she brought in an outside staging vendor on her own dime so the home would show at its absolute best. Bravo Karen. No cutting corners with her. From there, she handled everything: prep, paint, staging, photos, video, pricing strategy, and negotiations. The home sold after the first open house, in one week, and over asking price. Claudia was the point person at the Open House and she was upbeat, polite and professional. As someone who watches both cost and value very closely, I can say without hesitation that Karen fully earned her commission. If you're serious about getting top dollar with minimal stress, interview a few agents like I did--but in the end, trust the one who gets it done. When you only have one shot at selling such an important asset, don't gamble with it; hire Karen Anderson. She's the Gold Standard of real estate agents.

My…read morecoworker has no idea who Karen is, and I didn't care because there is not enough I can say to how amazing a job I think the Prestige Team do. I have worked with her team twice now, the first time to buy a house and the second time to sell a house. The funny thing is, I wasn't even planning on buying a house yet when I met Jonathan on her team. I was just dipping my toe into what was happening in my area and looking for maybe hiring an agent. I walked into an open house hosted by Jonathan and immediately liked his vibe. I also loved the vibe of the house, so much so, I was sold twice over. I hired him and bought the house. After that, I have reached out to both Jonathan and Karen for recommendations on work to be done, and they never fail to have qualified people I can hire. When I was ready to sell another house, there was no doubt in my mind who I was going to hire: The Prestige Team. Karen has walked us through the process, informing us in realistic terms how much the house should go for, she has hired and managed updates to the fixtures, bathroom, and kitchen, not to mention painting and gardening and electrical, and has kept us in the loop with bids. Now that the contract has already been signed, I can say I would have given her a higher commission (maybe . . . my partner would probably have something to say about that, though). In other words, HIRE THE PRESTIGE TEAM. If I could be more glowing in my review, I would!

I have found myself in a situation of trying to find a nice place to rent in the Redondo Beach area on a month to month basis which is a very tough thing to do especially as we are getting closer to summer. I am a consultant who is in the area to work on a project of unknown duration so I cannot commit to a long term lease. Where most realtors that I spoke with once they found out that I was looking for a place to rent on a month to month basis were not very helpful at all, I found Margaret Tan to be extremely helpful and provided me with lots of great ideas. I would strongly recommend that if you are looking for a realtor who takes the time to listen and to understand exactly what you are trying to do and then follows up and does what she says she is going to do that you contact Margaret. Overview To say it was amazing to work with Cecilia is an…read moreunderstatement. As first time home buyers in the South Bay, we were concerned about the cost of homes in the area but knew we could make the investment for a home that had the right growth potential. House Hunting/Putting Offers Out When we started physically going to properties, Cecilia was always on time to our appointments. She was responsive. She didn't waste our time showing us homes that didn't meet our requirements. But most importantly is that the didn't make us feel rushed or that she was frustrated that we didn't like a home and that we weren't putting in an offer. Performance Before I worked with Cecilia I felt like the difference in performance between real estate agents would be minimal. Cecilia proved me to be very wrong here. I was speaking with 3 different agents as I was trying to figure out who to work with and quickly stopped working with the other 2. I felt like I was just another number to the other agents. They just refined my search on their software and had the computer auto-send me listings. I would put notes for what I liked and didn't like into the software and didn't hear a peep from those agents. Cecilia on the other hand, paid attention to every comment I made. She hand picked listings and sent them to me directly making reference to notes I made in her listing software. Then I would ask her about things I could do to the property to add value and she gave me organized, thorough, and well thought out responses. Ultimately, this review is coming 2 years after working with Cecilia but I feel compelled to be detailed with my experience as well as well as mention that she was right about our property. We wanted a property that had strong equity growth potential and our home has outperformed other homes in our market because of the front end advice and legwork that Cecilia did for us. Bottom Line There are a lot of agents to pick from and it can feel like a crapshoot in terms of if you pick an average one or a top 1% agent. This review is intended to remove the crapshoot for you. As long as Cecilia is in the South Bay I will not be working with any agents except for her.
