They tacked the carpet from the stairs right into the epoxy floor, sticks and sand stuck in the epoxy and other issues. Was told that the installer "was going through some things." We were given a discount based on the issues which we accepted. Flash forward 3 years when the floor is peeling up on the edges and in the corners and cracking in areas, I reach out to the owner. It took 4 months just to get him to come look at the issues. Then after 9 months of contacting him every few weeks to try to schedule repairs, he no longer responds. Lots of excuses at all turns.

We planned to put in a "tall toilet" and eventually replace the flooring and decided this would be a good time to get it all done. Larry, the business owner, assessed the situation and gave us a reasonable price. He and his crew arrived on time on the scheduled day, tore out the old tile, put in new board, shower valves, faucet, a tub surround, fixed all my floor squeaks, installed the vinyl plank flooring and replaced the toilet. They did a thorough clean up and were on their way by 4:30pm! What a transformation of my outdated bathroom! Really beautiful work! I highly recommend RELM Plumbing for any plumbing issue or remodel project!

What do you do when your 85 year old rental property in Milwaukee needs new siding, windows and…read moredoors and you are trying to get it done remotely from Chicago? Well that was just the question I was trying to answer when I found Kettle Moraine Exteriors on a recommendation of a friend. This company is top notch. They came when they said they would to meet me and do the estimate. They saw additional structural problems and sent out an engineer to engage and solve the problem. They offered up solutions along the way and kept me informed at all junctures. They knew with an old house that it's the details that make the difference- and they worked to keep those details intact where they could. As with any old home project- this was not without issue. Once the old siding was off it was apparent that the house needed blown in insulation. They subcontracted and got it taken care of that day. In fact- they acted like the general contractor on a job that could have been "just a siding" job as they took care of the new storm windows, doors and even worked to get some period specific lighting installed on the porch. All the while working to not disturb my tenants unduly which was also nice. I can't say enough about how great my "old lady" of a house looks with all her new siding, doors and storm windows. And what a relief to work with such a reputable company that came in on time, on budget and took the hassle away from me. Now that's my kind of company!
