Did not have a positive experience here, thought owner was very rude. Would never re-visit again. Customer service needs to improve.

I stopped in this little gem last night…read more I was greeted at the door upon entry as my eyes landed on the fresh lobster tank in the middle of the room. As this was my first time there, I took my time walking around and browsing. I settled on an order of Pierogies (cheddar and potato) and a large package of marinated chicken, or at least what I thought was chicken. At checkout I was given some cooking tips by a nice older gentleman "You cook it on the grill, 8 minutes each side, medium heat". I inquired about how they made their ribs, which I will be purchasing tonight, and then made my way back home and prepared dinner. Upon opening the package, I'm am no longer sure I bought chicken as I removed a large sheet (approx 1-1.5ft long, 8in wide, 2.5in thick) of some kind of bird. The place does sell Ostrich and I may have purchased that by accident. The packages are only labeled with the date that they were packaged. Regardless, I cooked this bird on my grill for 8 minutes on each side at medium heat ;) Two minutes on each side, on my searer (it barely fit) and then 6 minutes, each side on the rest of the grill. It was perfect! I was so thrown off by the bird that I forgot to cook the pierogies but I'll have those tonight with the ribs. Now for the long and the short of it. Great Selection, Fresh food, Great Service, I thought it was a bit pricey ($20 for "chicken", $6 for Pierogies) but in retrospec my family of 4 only ate half of it meaning my whole meal cost me around $12 and I'll make another meal out of it tomorrow. If you haven't stopped in yet, what are you waiting for?

Never buy anything from this buisness if you care about your health and safety. As you can see from…read moretheir nasty replies, the do not care about consumer satisfaction or food safety. They mail food that requires refridgeration without it. They then blame the consumer. I was supposed to receive some cheese as a gift, they mailed it by USPS ground in a document mailer that is NOT meant for that purpose without declaring it was perishable in nature. The cheese took 4 days to arrive. It was hot, and wet, and visible spoiled when I opened it. The plastic packaging on the cheese was partially cut open, so even if the cheese was mailed properly it would have been inedible. "Roman" and the people behind this business should be ASHAMED.
