The lady that looks like who owns it was snoring on the couch right behind me half of them time. I get my nails done frequently so I kinda understand the steps of how they get the acrylic nail on and the way this guy did it, have never seen it done like that. Being from Houston, Texas paying $45 for a pedicure, I expected so much more than I actually received. In Houston, I can get a very high quality pedicure for just under $40 which would include hot wax, hot towels on your legs and a hot stone massage. In Houston the nail salon also uses disposable liners in their tubs and new nail utensils for every client making it very clean with no worries of infections. Design Hair Studio in Ponca City, OK charges $45 for a pedicure and all you get is an extremely basic pedicure. No hot wax, no hot towel, no stone massage, no mud wrap, etc. No liner in the tub and I believe they could use a new set of nail clippers. While the place is very clean and the girl that gave me the pedicure was really nice, I believe they are over-charging for their pedicures. I will be doing more research to find the perfect place for a pedicure at the right price.
