@Stacey B. nailed this place - it's a pub, good for watching footy and chatting to strange barflies. As a hater of all things pokies I would usually avoid places like this, but pubs around the area are few and far between, and when a big game is on it's nice to have some company so you don't look like a lone weirdo yelling at a television screen in a public place.
We used a discount book coupon to get some meals - all standard pub fare (Parmas, fish'n'chips) and all were perfectly decent, and it was a happy surprise that our drinks were also included in the discount, which made for a cheap day at the pub (and it's not often you can say that these days, beer prices being what they are).
Would I ever go here for a meal when there wasn't a footy game on I was interested in? No. But when I do everything is exactly A-OK. read more
