Two Chicks brought small infants to the work site which was vacant, but very dangerous to small children. They left dirty diapers on the ground for me to clean up. The job was less than satisfactory. I was told they knew how to finish ceilings... they do not. I was told that Sherwin Williams paint would be purchased with my money... it was not. Home Depot paint was used. They left me no paint in which i had to try and match because my rooms were left not completely painted. Very disappointed. I would not hire again.

I didnt call Window Universe intially. (my mistake) I had one company (Who I wont review) that was all the way up to getting a downpayment from me. They seemed good initially but I had to fire them when they didnt show up (it was a fourth offence) Too bad. Well I called Window Universe they came out fast. The quoting process was fast. The person (lance) who came out was very personable. Now I didnt realize this but their quote was 1500 less than the other guy I fired. Also Lance is a dialed in person. He called Provia on my door and he told me that the door I was getting was not compatible so we had to switch. The previous guy was going to give me that door with the side lights. (Was it going to even work??) yeah so there was that. The appointment took minutes. We also talked about basement glass block windows. Their prices. Right on the sheet AND they were really good about 1/2 what I expected to pay. So I am going to do that too before the winter. Anyhow when all was said and done Window Universe was less than the guy I almost used and Lance double checked he got the proper sized windows and sidelights. Great experience and I still have 3+ weeks before the windows show up. Ill come back and add some pictures after it is done. I know it is going to be great.

I would recommend Vic Pajer and his team to anyone looking for quality painting, wallpaper removal, spackling of imperfections, and all of the rest. These guys care and are very methodical. He then sent me an email estimate for the painting portion and said the carpenter would meet with me to work up an estimate for the carpentry portion which of course had to be done first. No one ever contacted me about the carpentry work, so I followed up three times, twice via email and the last time by phone. That was ten days ago. I then contacted another company who promptly responded and with whom we have already secured a contract.
