He took out a wall, repaired plaster cracks and joints and skim coated all of the walls on the first floor. The walls came out perfect. The old wavy plaster walls look flat and straight after he finished and it's impossible to see the gap in the plaster were he took out the old wall. Also, his price was very fair. I'm hoping this review helps anyone who's evaluating maintenance contractors for work. And unlike…read moremost, my review is unbiased, factual and professional. This was probably my worst experience with a contractor as a landlord and owner. We'll outline why below: 1. Regardless of what time they give you, they rarely show up at that time. Punctuality is a huge concern here and tenants called us multiple times to complain that they were late. 2. Reno's staff did some work on my tenant's toilet, asked if they could pee after the work was done and then left urine all over the toilet and floor. Reno tried to clean it up but after they left my tenant called us back saying there was still more urine all behind the toilet. Very unacceptable. 3. We had his team come out to give us a quote on 4 units that needed some maintenance work done. They came out, inspected the areas, gave us a quote, asked for a deposit and never came out to complete. The deposit was over $1k. We tried to contact them for days with no response. Finally, one of his guys got back to us and said Reno was sick and in the hospital and that he'd come out to do the job instead. His name was Brandon. He never came out either. As we speak, we're working with our attorney on this because they asked for 50% down, took the deposit and never completed the work. Not to mention, we couldn't help thinking they were incoherent, maybe intoxicated, high, etc. during many of our conversations. One of our tenants said Brandon mentioned they couldn't come to do maintenance work because they got pulled over by the cops and didn't have their license so their car was taken away? Very different from the story we were told that Reno was sick. We're not here to tell you who to or to not use, but these were our experiences with Reno, Brandon and his crew. Good luck.
