DISCLAIMER: I hired B. Paitsel of Dahlonega, Georgia, for the job described below. If B. Paitsel is not associated with Paitsel Construction of Murrayville, Georgia, I sincerely apologize. I assumed that he would operate under some name, and I thought this was it. I was looking for a building contractor in the Dahlonega, Ga. area to do some work on my chimney/roof. I received a recommendation from a trusted source for B. Paitsel, a local building contractor. I checked to make sure he was licensed in Georgia, and he was. The problem is that 1) he and his helper are totally incompetent, 2) his materials markup was obscene and you will NEVER get a receipt for anything, and 3) the job will never be finished. Oh, and I fired this pathetic wretch in June, 2012; he left his equipment and supplies on my property when he started the job in January, 2012, and it is still here nine months later, three months after I fired him. His license has expired, and he has not renewed it. Each time I have contacted him, he has another excuse for not getting his things, usually some sort of physical ailment. He is well enough to have opened a martial arts studio in Dahlonega, though. Good luck to anyone unfortunate enough to get involved with him. read more
