The positive experience I hired him again for some more work on my house in the spring of 2022. The work consisted of repairing a picture window in one spot, stopping rain water from entering under my garage door and installing a new faucet. Andrew left one of his men to do the work and it was shoddy. Andrew was paid in full. The first rain it was discover neither the bay window nor the garage had been repaired. The faucet was put on backwards. Andrew was contacted and due to family medical issues he could not come out. The man he left to do the work was no longer employed by him. Eventually he came out and faucet was reinstalled correctly. He agreed the window was not properly repaired. It started to rain and remainder work could not be completed. I had bought tile and all needed materials to be installed in my kitchen for a backsplash. Andrew advised me I needed approximately 2 more square feet which I purchased immediately. Andrew's mother-n-law has died twice months apart. November 2022, I talked to Andrew advising him I was scheduled for surgery in February 2023. I would be home for 2 weeks for him to complete the work of just a few hours. The backsplash could wait. I was more concerned with the bay window and garage door. Three months in advance for Andrew to complete the work I had already paid him to do. Andrew stated he wrote me down in his appointment book and he and his crew would be at my home to complete. It is now October 2023 and Andrew has yet to show up or contact me or complete the work. The shoddy repair of the picture window has cause warping and wood separation on my wood floor beneath the picture window and structural damage around the window. The bottom of the window was dug out by his worker and not sealed or back filled allowing water to come in behind the wall and under the wood floor unknown to me. The entire window has been replaced by a professional window expert. The shoddy repair actually caused the structural damage and wood floor damage as water was seeping behind the wall. Once it was pointed out to me you could see daylight coming in from the outside to the inside allowing rain water to seep into the wall and under the wood floor. At this time, I have no idea how extensive the damage my wood floor or cost to repair.
