We could see the old color underneath the new one. They didn't prime. Some areas of the ceiling weren't even painted. They took our money without finishing the job and then gave us a hard time about making it right. Getting someone to return to finish the job was difficult. After leaving several messages, the owner of Preferred Painting came to review the job with us and when we voiced our dissatisfaction he tried to walk out on us. (He already had our money.) We had to beg him to finish the job, and he finally agreed to send someone back. But even after he sent one of his workers to finish the job, there still remain many streaky areas, with the old color showing through. These painters trashed the house, leaving plaster dust coating everything and refused to vacuum it. This was a very stressful, nightmare of a job.
