While we are familiar with the city, it was really interesting to have the context of history to frame our knowledge. We arrived 15 minutes before our tour, and our guide Toni was waiting for us. The tuktuk was ready with a cooler filled with champagne, sangria and water (that we ordered as add-ons to our tour). She gave us a set of headphones and a speaker we could wear around our necks, so we could hear her narration clearly over the traffic. Our two hour tour was chock full of sights and sites! Toni was fun, knowledgeable and engaging. We had plenty of opportunities to comments, ask questions, and even get out of the vehicle to take photos or admire certain locations.
