I had no idea we offered it here in El Paso, but it makes sense because this is probably one of the most artistic cities I've been in, the other comparable being Barcelona. The talent is so apparent here with the murals and aesthetics of the buildings, even on the food trucks etc. I guess they nuture them young! I really liked the program and the teacher. She's super patient and in the 45 mins she was able to get the entire class of 25 kids of various ages between 5-9 to draw from scratch a treehouse with angles and proportions and colors and shading. I was very impressed with how she was able to interact with the kids and give them one on one time and give them little tips. I could see the confidence building in my kids and it teaches them so much hand control and coordination. If they offer it at your school, jump on it. It's a great program and space is limited so there's always a wait-list. We're gonna try to get in after the school break. It's also very affordable with scholarships and sibling discounts and payments plans. They offer the classes after school on different days so you're able to pick them a little later and avoid the lines. See if they're in your school and trial a class. #supportlocal https://www.youngrembrandts.com/borderland-TX

As far as the class, Mikalan was a great teacher. She explained everything very well and used a lot of great examples to show us how we would possibly be using what we learned in the hospital setting! As long as you pay attention to the videos and the instructors teaching, you will pass the test at the end with ease. It took me no more than 5 minutes to answer everything and I got a 100! I will definitely come back to ProAction in the future for any other classes I need!

Excellent!!! Tutoring U is amazing! My daughter had issues at school because of a bad (bully and…read morelazy) teacher. It got so bad I, and a couple other parents, removed our children from the class and put them in another school. The new school informed me that she was severely behind the rest of the class. She finished out the year at the new school, but because of the stress from her previous teacher her confidence was gone and her attitude changed drastically. I spoke with Michelle and her husband at Tutoring U, and they explained how they work with the students. I walked out of that meeting and could not wait to get my daughter started! Later that week I took my daughter in so she could be tested so they could see what her strengths and weaknesses were. They immediately gave me the results of her tests - no waiting - and they set her up on a tutoring plan. Immediately I started to see changes in my daughter! Her confidence was returning, she was happy and her stress was gone. Most important she was learning - A LOT! She was caught up on all the previous year's lessons and she was ready to start the new year. Currently, we are a few weeks into the new school year and her teacher has commented how advance she is math and reading and that she knows how to properly study. We previously tried the other national chain tutoring centers; they were very expensive, did not have one on one teaching (it was more like 4 to 1) and all they seemed to care about was having you sign a lengthy contract. I love that the tutoring is one-on-one. The curriculum focuses on the student's weaknesses, but will also review their strengths. I was always told what my daughter would be working on and how she did on the lesson. I was so happy with the progress my daughter made that half way through the summer I enrolled my younger daughter so she could get a start on the new school year. I will continue to use Tutoring U and I highly recommend their services. Thank you so much for helping my daughters!!

The year started with one teacher who a few months in was moved to another classroom and they brought in her current teacher Mrs. James, she is the nicest and friendliest she cares for the students and challenges them to be successful and reach their potential. I was surprised to my daughter getting homework but that has been a blessing in disguise. We enjoy helping our daughter every night with her assignments it helps her learn more and shows her we are there for her in her growth (spiritually and academically). Mr. Carlos is great as well, prior to the start of the school year we took the time to visit with a few schools and meet with the principals and try to decide which school would be best for our daughter. He met with us and gave us a tour of the campus. This was the only school our daughter liked and that we agreed upon mutually. The culture at this school is great, they show the students about the foundations of the Bible and living a righteous life. I don't believe this should fall solely upon the school to implement these core values. It really falls upon us as parents. However, the school and their staff really do an awesome job of teaching this to the students. The school has several activities throughout the school year that are open invitation to the parent if they wish to opt into attending or lending a hand. I highly recommend if you can do it, my wife and I did that many times and we really enjoyed it not to mention our daughter enjoyed us being there as well. Most recently we went to the zoo which was a lot of fun. We really look forward to the upcoming school year and all the fun activities. Please if you are considering this school do not go solely based on the negative reviews, I personally believe them to be biased. This school and it's teachers / staff are all amazing! If you have any doubts reach out to them for clarification. You will see they are a Godsend!
