My friend invited me to make and paint a clay pot with her. It turned out to be so much more. For a…read morevery reasonable price we got a pound of clay each and that includes the studio time to make the piece and then to come back and glaze it after firing. We had extra clay left over and it is another $5 for extra Pieces over the original. It was such a relaxing time. They have a clay roller, if like me, you would rather have them roll it out consistently. They also have tons of tools, an employee to guide you, and books to inspire and guide! There are also classes to make lazy Susan's, fairy houses, throw on a wheel and simply come in to paint pieces also. Something for everyone. You can byof (bring your own food and drinks-provided you're of age) Wonderful concept and lots of fun!

Both…read moreMark and Gwen are excellent teachers that explain the steps well and take their time helping you to learn the moves. Over time it has become easier and easier and we are able to enjoy the dances more and more without having to think about the moves as much. So far we are learning both the salsa and tango. (About 2 months in) can't wait for more!

We have done a lot of escape rooms as a family so we opted to try Disturbance in Elmwood. It was…read morelisted as Expert level/highly challenging and allows for 75 minutes. It was a super cold night and this was the perfect activity for us. We met our game master (I think it was Brittney) and she was super friendly and energetic. She really helped to make the room theming and our experience. We found the room to be challenging, but with our previous experience we were able to figure out the clues and escape with about 4 minutes left. We were able to get clues to help us if we felt stuck, but didn't just give us the answer so we could still feel like we accomplished solving the puzzles. This was a larger room and starts splitting into 2 groups so it was fun since we were not sure when it was going to end. Added to the excitement, but also to the stress when time was running out! :-) We would do another room for sure when we are back in the area!

AERIALISTS and PARENTS of Aerialists BEWARE. One day, the owner Barrie Michaels will have you…read moreconvinced you're a family friend and the next she is verbally abusing your child in class. This environment is unfit for adolescent ladies and young girls. If you want your child to develop healthy body image and good self esteem DO NOT send them here. On numerous occasions, Coach Barrie asks their weight and has gone as far to say, "Im an adult, I only weigh 10 lbs more than you". She also accuses you of being dis-loyal if anything comes in between aerials. She doesn't support multiple sport athletes and goes as far to demean them in class and behind their backs! She will turn on you like the plague, when you have other commitments. Expressing your feelings means nothing to her. She is an entitled narcissist woman who preys on young girls because they are easier to control. She will convince parents that she is a healthy role model, but take my warning seriously! I tried to address my concerns before this low review and gave the owner, Barrie Michaels multiple opportunities to make amends. She continues to spew nonsense. She is trash. Beware! This review will never be removed, because of the disrespect my family has endured since 2/19/24. Many of her students have reached out to my family in sheer disgust of how she yells and has spoken about my family. It's gone as far as having to involve an attorney. The fact Ive paid monthly tuition for 8 years and this is what Im dealing with is appalling.

I actually have proof for my review, feel free to read the messages. I hired Sound Mind Studios…read morearound November where at first I did get the quality of work that I wanted. I spent around $200 and got $200 worth of work back. My mistake was getting comfortable, I paid in advanced $400 for the rest of my project with terrible results. As you can see in the texts this person refused to respond on multiple occasions, I paid for work around January and still around summer I was asking for my work back. By the time I got my work back there were essentially no changes. The producer added an EQ layer which someone their first semester of undergraduate could do within 10 minutes, it was nothing that I asked for and definitely not worth $400. I contacted his manager who clearly didn't want to be bothered. At this point summer was in full swing and I wanted to just have a refund of my $400 and find another studio. Of course the manager "didn't have my money" and refused. He offered to fix my project but with the low quality of work and clear annoyance with me (and I quote) "This cannot be a never ending project", I accepted that I was stolen from and moved on. DO NOT GO HERE unless you're fine losing hundreds of dollars.
