This company did not honor their contract, and the quality of work was shockingly poor. Do NOT…read morerecommend - waste of money. 1. The deck paint started peeling within a month (see picture). The contract stated two coats would be applied, but we never saw them do a second coat. I contacted the company because the work was supposedly guaranteed and never received a reply. 2. They spent an entire day painting our bathroom the wrong color. When I asked them to fix it, they tried to blame me for "miscommunication" even though the requested color was clearly stated both verbally and in writing in the contract. Their mistake prolonged the project, which they then became irritated about because they had "other jobs." 3. Paint was everywhere -- paint footprints on indoor and outdoor stairs, paint on the driveway, and large sections of our hot tub, mirrors, counters, outdoor table, and light fixtures were covered in paint. None of it was addressed until I pointed it out, and even then the cleanup was poor. 4. Large sections of wallpaper were left on the walls despite removal being included in the contract, and multiple areas of molding were never painted. I ultimately had to repaint much of the bathroom myself. 5. They damaged a full 8ft part of the ceiling and took it upon themselves to try to repair it without disclosing it even though they had little drywall/puttying experience. Having this professionally fixed will cost a lot. 6. The most uncomfortable part was being pressured into signing paperwork saying the contract had been fulfilled when it clearly had not. I was told they would not leave until I signed it. As a small woman alone in the house, the interaction felt intimidating and deeply unprofessional.

Hired G&B Painting to paint the exterior of my stucco house. Owner, Geoffrey stated that his work…read morecarries a 2 year warranty. We have a small cape cod style home. We were charged for materials including paint and primer. After the job was done, the bill was much higher than the original estimate. We agreed to pay the extra fee although it seemed higher than it should have been. Within 6 months, the paint began to peel. Within a year and a half, it was coming off in sheets. The sheets of peeled paint were the same, solid color tan on both sides and the exposed house surface was my original dirty, white stucco. No primer was on the peeled paint or on my house. It appears no primer was used. We attempted to reach Geoffrey who did not return our calls for a long time. Finally, 1 year and 10 months into the 2 year warranty, Geoffrey came out to inspect the work. He agreed that it should not have peeled and said he would be back to fix it. That was the last we heard from him. This was nearly a year ago. He did not return to fix the job and would not return our calls. The house continues to peel and looks terrible, worse than it did before we hired G&B. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this man and his company.

I provided my information and waited for a call. I got a call about a week later stating that they were really swamped and that they would get back to me to set up a time for an estimate. I will give them credit for that. That's why they got one more star. However, 3 more weeks passed and no call. I got back in touch with them and it was a bit difficult to set up a time to get an estimate. It seemed that they weren't too interested in working around our schedules but we did eventually work out a time. Randy came and talked with my wife and said he would get back to us with the estimate. That was April 14th. It has been more than a month. I have sent several email messages, which is how we communicated with everything else, and after several attempts to get a response, there has been none. I get the impression that they really didn't want this job because it is going to be difficult to get right but, it would have been nice to at least be told that they weren't interested in doing it so that I could have gotten to other contractors sooner. Now they are booked up through the summer.
