So a few months ago we decided to address the whole house. The outside needed a lot of prep (a 100-year-old center hall colonial home in Queens which we've lived in for 48 years.) The wood needed cracks filled, scraping, caulking - hours of attention. The inside hadn't been painted in 20 years at least. The living room required 3 skim coats of plaster, the kitchen had damage from a leak, the bathrooms needed some ceiling replacement from another leak - just to show the extent of what they were facing. Today, they finished! They went so far beyond just painting to include replacing hinges, repairing old porch casement windows, - everything they touched became so much better. This was a huge job, lasting over 2 months, and we can't say enough about how professional, fastidious, and careful they were in their attention to quality. The team of guys clearly liked and respected each other - a key factor to good work, and the business owner Fredi Borjas is gentleman, and a delight to work with. I wrote him a 5 star review and then followed up several times regarding the stairwell. Between leaving several messages on his personal phone and Yelp, I still never received a call back about the stairwell. If a company is too busy, or doesn't want to provide the service, they should just let you know. It's a shame because his guys did a great job but I'm a stickler for following through on things and this did not happen, leaving me hanging for a couple of weeks before finally moving on to find another company.
