Three weeks went by without any call, text or email. I sent him an email, then few days later another email. I texted once and another week later I called him. He was super apologetic as he never put anything together. Something about him having a hard time with giving bad news... Umm, we asked for a painting job quote. Basically the extent of our conversation was it was going to be expensive and that he didn't think we could afford him so he never provided us a quote. He said that they would have to scrape and hand paint the house and it would take 52+ man hours at $100 an hour. We have a small two story 1300 square foot house. Oh and to boot he suggested that we get rid of the aluminum siding and get vinyl instead. Good riddance. Take your attitude and paint someone else's house as you won't be getting our business regaress of what you think my husband and I can afford!

We paid cash and asked for a receipt and to come back and finish another project. We never received either. I feel like he took the cash and ran. Now we ate paying for another Painter to not only finish the job but redo what he did. Needless to say we are not happy. Mike came highly recommended by friends we both know. I fell for it... I own that moment of foolishness. When the paint dried I could see all the bare spots. Called him again and again. Left numerous messages, but he never called back. Very shoddy work and clearly no work ethic/morals either.

Paulick would show up at 1000am, 1100 am and leave around 4pm..he took way longer than what he promised. Our house was a disaster. Paint was on the cupboards, tv set, moldings, windows, etc. He had no respect for our home. Very arrogant. I would suggest a formal written contract, with completion dates and costs. Or a different painter. To top it off he played Rush Limbaugh all day and is very bigoted. When done the painting did look very good, other than runs in the paint in the bathrooms. Ok to hire to paint a couple of rooms, but not a whole house.
