It is similar to a tiny Lululemon store in that they have super cute workout wear. They also clear out space in the store for yoga classes like Lulu does. I got a sweater, some tights and a top. They had the cutest "quilted/puffer" running skits but living in California, I don't think I would ever need it. The gal working was very sweet. Can't wait to wear my new gear to pilates!

They didn't have it out on the floor so she asked for my size while looking me up and down with her coworker (enough for my husband to notice,) then made a show of going down to get the box with the bathing suits. Gave me the suit to try on and said, with her coworker next to her, if you need bigger we have. I'm tall and thin and know my size, so I can't imagine what other customers would experience! I wanted to like this place because of the nice displays in the windows but was disappointed by the rude treatment.

The kids loved FAO Swartz and all the live demos, especially seeing the stuffies where we ended up caving and buying a few. Overall, this was a beautiful spot!

The main building, where you'll find women's fashions, accessories, cosmetics, eyeglasses (including an optometrist), sportswear, children's wear, is topped with a must-see art glass dome, complete with a glass cat walk (maybe on the 4th floor?) that enables up close viewing of the dome from the inside. There are restaurants, rest rooms, and sweets shops in this building, too. Menswear has a building all to itself, as does the food court. Be careful here. There are so many delicious and appetizing foods offered in the food court building that you'll be tempted to overstuff. It would be just too easy to spend an entire day shopping at Galleries Lafayette.

It's mainly a board and longboard shop, but I'll forever thank them for taking the time to learn the innerworkings of derby equipment and helping France have access to quality quad skates and skate repairs. Don't fret about the location, it really is just a 3 minute walk from the Metro, and you save a crapload of money and have a larger selection than any of the other skateshops in Paris.
