The owner, Priska, is the heartbeat of this wonderful vintage/antique store. Priska is so friendly and knowledgeable. What an impressive selection of items! I've been to many antique shops, but the Victorian Parlor has more variety and "good stuff" than anywhere I've ever been in the U. S. One could get lost for hours in this store. It's a glorious trip back in time! The Victorian Parlor is located in lovely quaint downtown Paducah. The store was once a Western Union office. The flooring and walls bear evidence of this! I would happily return to Paducah and The Victorian Parlor anytime. And hope I get a chance to do that soon! You should go!

There are so many wonderful salads, snacks and sandwiches not to mention their bagged mixes so you too can bake like them! They also have baking and display pieces for your creation Troutt's is truly a one stop shop. I ordered Paducahmonopoly games for Christmas- because time flies too fast and December will be here so fast. I was able to pick up a bin full of good deals to resale on my eBay store. The manager was super nice & talkative & was quick to assist with any display cases I needed opened. I've been to this store several times and always leave with something I've paid my cash for. The…read moreselection is good and I love the color coordination of clothes. But today, I felt an employee was lurking, watching me look through the racks and I was uncomfortable. A piece of clothing had fallen to the floor near me, that I don't think I dislodged. The employee came right up near me, and hung it back up. I apologized despite not being sure I had done it. They said nothing back me, just gave me a dirty look. At that point I put back the shirt I was planning to pay cash for, and walked away. I glanced over my shoulder and they had already snatched up the shirt and moved it back to what I guess was a better spot. I just smiled as the person glared. Needless to say I won't be back for a loooong time if ever. Who treats their repeat cash paying customers this way? Three stars is generous, it's for the merchandise selection only.
