She was thorough, professional, on top of everything, incredibly patient and flexible, and offered great advice on how to assess various houses and how to proceed with negotiations. She even drove out to a house whose listing we saw online but couldn't go see ourselves immediately, and gave us a video-call tour of the property! My parents were able to buy a great house within a couple of weeks of starting their search, and Kim was there every step of the way and even after they moved in. Moreover, she even connected them to a great agent in the Bay Area to sell their house simultaneously. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and effective realtor in the area!

So about two years ago when I was still in the market for a house to purchase, I started looking in…read morethe Sacramento area and was referred to Kim Nicols as a great real estate agent to try. After perusing a few houses and the neighborhoods they were in, Kim suggested maybe looking in Placer county in the Rocklin/Roseville/Folsom area. And that's what we did.......for the next 6 months...... Kim was really patient throughout this whole process and due to our pickiness (it is a HOUSE after all....) we must have looked at over 30 properties before finding the house that I now own. She was very helpful in not only assisting me with finding the right loan agent, but also getting me set up with the title company, providing me a list of #s and contacts for local utilities, and just being there whenever I have any questions. I still to this day bug her from time to time with some question or other and she's never too busy to get back to me. If your in the market for a new home, definitely give Kim a try. You won't regret it.

This company was the listing agent for a house we bought. I've come to question their ethics…read more When we saw the house, the agent volunteered that the kitchen was remodeled and that "it is very high quality. Not IKEA." After moving in, we learned that the entire kitchen was IKEA. We don't have a problem with IKEA and we like the kitchen, but we think either she was lying or made an uninformed comment probably trying to appeal to clientele that have expensive taste. When we asked if there are rental properties around us, she seemed to purposefully give us a vague answer. After we moved in, we learned that both sides of us are rentals. Again, we actually like these people and don't have a problem with renters per se, but we feel like she was being deceitful. Finally, after moving in, we discovered a significant foundation defect hidden behind a makeshift wooden landing. The landing seemed odd to us when we saw the house, considering the immaculate condition of the rest of the house. I didn't think too much about it because I assumed that any issues would be disclosed and the inspector would catch anything else. I find it hard to believe that a seasoned agent did not know this or at least question the buyer as to why something so out of place is in plain site, especially when it is very unattractive and detracts from the aesthetics of the house. Of course, it is the obligation of the seller to disclose this to the agent. Based on what we know about the seller, I believe that the seller probably did disclose it. Overall, we are happy with the house, but we feel the agent was not honest in dealing with us.
