On the property, we visited the petting zoo, did a kid's corn maze (along with a slide), took a hayride to the pumpkin patch and had the kids pick out their own pumpkins. They had a ball! The farm also has fresh vegetables, ciders, honey, jams, meat and other items available for purchase. The entry fee is $11 for those 2 and above which I think is reasonable. They also have ice cream(which they all loved), milkshakes, root beer floats and pulled pork sandwiches available for purchase. They have strawberry and blackberries for picking in the spring(will be back). The family was very friendly and informative. was friendly. My Grandkids had a ball. I'm a glam country girl and will forever be. Flowers, plants, fruit, vegetables, farm fresh meats, dairy, bakery items, etc, etc, etc. High quality, always fresh. Store is always clean. They just did an expansion of the store making more space for product placement & customers to roam. I love the open market feel. Staff...always friendly professional. I could have a bad day and coming here instantly cheers me up. Prices... health costs money but copays cost more. You choose. Parking... decent. The turnover is quick and I've never had to wait to park. People are usually in & out. Issues... the only herbs they sell is cilantro. I'm ok with that (mostly). But I really wish they had mint & basil. They are closed during winter. Makes sense but... Those are the longest 4 months for me.

My husband grabbed a soda for the road. It was completely flat. Portapotties in back are typical or portapotties...unclean and smelly. They did have a portable handwashing station. We did not get food or ice cream from outside.

It's set up like an indoor Farmer's Market, so prepare to pay for each area separately. The actual venue isn't anything special- you can tell the floors are old. At the front of the Market there's a stuffed pretzel section, however they only take cash for this area. Everywhere else I went they accepted credit cards. Looking forward to going back and trying the stuffed pretzels. I also noticed they had a sign for unlimited pancakes on certain days. I would be interested in trying those for sure based on the quality of food I got. The bakery items and meats I bought were thorough.

It may seem overwhelming at first, but it's actually easy to get around even when it's crowded. The lines are usually long, but they're very efficient. You grab a ticket to place your order, and things move quickly. Keep in mind there are extra charges for bags and card use. Cash is recommended, though cards are accepted at most stations (except the pretzel and ice cream lines). There is an ATM on-site. Note: The market is only open Thursday-Saturday, so plan ahead!
