Great bar with amazing selection of beers!…read more I think this is not a typical Milano bar setting, I think this is quite a unique bar. We found it great! They take beer serious in this place! All people sit, there is no standing at the bar so the place was almost full when we found a place. Most chairs are along long tables and this creates a nice atmosphere. This place is were friends meet and discuss, couples sit and talk..... and everybody drinks beer. There are literaly hundreds of beers available. Chalkboards are filled with more or less exotic brands and names and the beer tap has around twenty draught beers which are brewn by the BQ microbrewery. We tried only a few of the different brews and we really liked them. Just try one or two and let the enthousiastic bartender explain some typical differences, like all the different herbs they use. The only thing we did not really like was the smell of the rather fatty food they serve, like fries and burgers.

Stumbled upon this place while strolling around one the canals in Milan. I was wrong to assume that…read moreItalian beers we're going to be as boring as some of the ones I had tried before. Luckily BQ exists and they proved me to be very wrong. It would be an understatement to say they have a very good selection of craft beers. These brews are so darn good and well balanced that they give Belgian and German beers a run for their money. If you're in town and want to sip on something different than wine, swing by BQ. The only downside is that the place is quite small, but that wouldn't stop me from going back if ever in Milan again. Wish these guys would open up a place in NYC.

If you're going to Milano, go here!…read more Great beer, great food, great people all in charming surroundings, I sat in the bar the whole night and they gave me free beer. The streets outside where full, and the atmosphere was cool. There's actually not more to say...

Priced all the same, not sure if that was just the ones I got. The guy behind the counter is like a "forefather" of Italian Craft brewing but seems pretty down to earth and knows a lot of his patrons. The bar isn't pretty, but it's fine.

We're from…read moreCalifornia, so we know what American food and British ale are supposed to taste like, and the burgers, fries, and beer were top-notch. I got the house (MTG) burger, a monster piled high with a near-half pound patty, delicious and crispy bacon, a fried egg, grilled onion, and veggies. No notes. We sat in the back room, so we needed to get the bartender's attention, but it was appropriate for how busy the bar was with the big match on. The bar decor is chock-full of jerseys and photographs - a perfect fit for the vibe of the bar. It was the perfect place to spend our final night before heading home to the creature comforts of the US.

There was around 7 pieces of nuggets and the club sandwich was like a BLT+chicken+egg. Both items cost 6euros each, which is extremely reasonable considering the portion size - Really laid back atmosphere - good lighting (wasn't dim like most bars) - Nice service - Wasn't too loud - No wifi :(

I had been several times to the Slice, and it's definitely the best place in Milan for happy hour…read moreand aperitivo. In many other bars, the happy hour is just some sandwiches and salads: that's not the case of the Slice. For 8 euros you get a drink and access to a gigantic buffet, with pizza, gnocchi, pasta, bread and nutella, fruit, fries and many other things; and you will never run out of food, since waiters keep replenish the buffet with new things. I strongly suggest to get there at 7-7:30 pm, especially if you are a large group, since the place is small and you might wait some time before getting a table.
