They have dog bags and trash cans along the way which makes it easier to take your dog along with you for an nice walk or run. There are parking lots to access the trails about every mile. The trails run along the Sioux River, so there are a lot of trees and nature to observe and it's quiet from the nearby city traffic. It's my favorite place to walk in the mornings (when it's not freezing out in the winter months) with my dog : )

We discovered the playground at Jacobson Plaza within the first two days here and thank goodness, because it is fantastic. There are three different play structures and even smaller play areas for even younger children. From what a local resident told me, it only opened within the last year, and you can tell. Everything is in great shape and is obviously up to every safety code. There are three of those little zip line tracks as well which, let me tell you, are fun for everyone- kids and adults. It's really cool to watch everyone play together. On the other side of a fence is the Falls, next to it is a splash pad and next to that is a Grill- all within the same safe, spacious parking lot. So when you're done playing and are hungry, check out the grill, and then across the street get some cotton candy at The Candy Cloud Factory. Your kid will love it here, and there's plenty of seats with awnings for parents (and aunts!)

From very young to a little over the hill, they all were having so much fun performing and showing what they could do. The first half of the show was meant as a demonstration and instructional type show with the announcer explaining what they were doing and what the technical terms were. It gave some of the newer skiers an opportunity to perform and get used to the nerves! He also provided background on a lot of the performers and it's amazing how many have gone on to win awards throughout the world, all starting at Catfish Bay! It's a small little lake but they're doing amazing things on the water! The corny little skits by "Norm" as filler had the kiddos laughing hysterically!! Very enjoyable evening and the special 4th of July fireworks after the show were phenomenal!!

This is a beautiful park nestled in a nice neighborhood of homes…read more The park has tons of walking space and is ideal for pets. It also has beautiful, well kept tennis courts and a basketball half-court which is also always clean. One of the highlights of my trips to Sioux Falls includes walking through McKennan park with my dog and playing tennis. The courts are impeccably clean and are never fully occupied. The basketball half-court is also nice, but if someone's using the court, waiting for your turn can be a frequent issue. On a beautiful day, spending time in McKennan park can't be beat.

This type of structure is what one expects to find at first-class climbing gyms, I was truly amazed by the place. They have a nice play area for kids (see pictures), and a walking path way. We actually stayed here 2 different dates. They have beautiful and huge widow maker trees which offered a lot of shade. Pull through sites with full hook up or just electric and water. They do have a dump station that is on the wrong side of the campground. You have exit out of the campground then make this sharp turn in order to use it. Both times we stayed here were very peaceful and quiet. You must go to the park when the sun is setting. You will get beautiful pictures (please see photos). The first time we stayed at site 8 and then site 9 on the second time. This campground is very reasonably priced at $30 a night. It is a perfect place to pull in and get some sleep then to leave the next day back on the road. The town is really cute and small. For a fast dinner or meal, try Pizza Ranch out. They have all you can eat pizza buffet for $15 per adult. #campground #rvcampground #campgroundMN #fullhookups #pullthroughsites #beautifulsunsets
