My past experience with Pack and Mail was so bad that I vowed never to return, but I needed to send an overnight package. The store is now under completely new management and the service is now EXCELLENT! The agent was extremely helpful and suggested using a cheaper carrier to help save me some money. While we were talking, he mentioned that they also offer new services like shredding and shipping with several different carriers. Congratulations to the new management. Went to drop off some mail here and they don't have any spot to close and tape up packaged and either wanted me to pay them to tape it or purchase an entire role of tap to do it myself. Never experienced that before usually putting labels on and such is just part of the normal shipping experience. So confused. read more

Went here to drop off pre labeled free audiobooks for the blind and pay to ship another package. The woman behind the counter was both rude and misinformed regarding the shipping labels for the audiobooks. She claimed that the label wasn't paid shipping and that we'd have to pay her to ship them. This was false. We immediately took them (and out other package) to the post office down the street and they took them to ship as labeled for free without a second look. This was my first experience here and also will be my last. In this interaction the woman behind the counter had no clue what she was talking about and was adamant and rude about it. If she wasn't misinformed it's even worse: she was dishonest and tried to get us to pay for something that was a free service for the visually impaired. Where to begin... Probably one of the WORST customer service experiences of my life. The business is located in a stripe mall. The owners park right in front of their business, which should have been a red flag, taking up a space for someone who is elderly or handicapped. (Pet peeve of mine). I had to wait an hour just to get a quote on the price to ship a piece of art. The woman and her husband were so negative about sending it, they would have to use a huge box, it would take so much time, they didn't know when it would arrive, etc. I wondered why on earth were they in this business in the first place! Meanwhile, they also have a pet store in the "lobby", so anyone who came in while this transaction was occurring, would interrupt which made it so frustrating. They finally quoted me a insultingly high price to ship the item, so I just took it and left. I shipped it elsewhere and was treated nicely and promptly. DO NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS. A 1 star review is far too generous to give to this business. Today I needed to mail a check to a business within the same state I reside in via Fed Ex ground transport. I figured this transaction may cost between 5 or 10 dollars at most, as it was allegedly regular ground transport and only about 2 hours away from my location. Upon checkout the total to ship a single CHECK came to $23.72. I spoke with Fed ex customer service who confirmed that this shipment should have only cost around $10.00, yet I was given the excuse that "gas prices" are why it was so expensive to ship. This is a horrible business overcharging for services you can get for a fraction of the price elsewhere. DO NOT SUPPORT this business, take your hard earned money and time elsewhere. read more

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!! From the moment I walked in the door, the owner (female) was very negative. I explained that I was there for a Fieldprint appointment to have live fingerprints completed for work. She told me that I had to have an appointment, and this is not how it works that I just walk in. I informed her that I did have an appointment. I was 15 minutes early as I wanted to ask a few questions. I presented my questions and she stated that I would have to call Fieldprint directly and that we had to wrap it up because she had to move on and had many other things to do. She basically tried to dismiss me from the store. I interjected that I was early, and my appointment was not until 11AM- 15 minutes from then. She huffed, told me that if other customers came in that she would assist them and I would have to wait- regardless of appointment time. She left me standing and went to the back of the store as I called the main Fieldprint office. I did reach them, and they graciously helped with my questions, and said that all the technician had to do was a refresh on her screen and proceed with my order. I tried to relay that message so that we could move on with my order. I was immediately interrupted with "What did they tell you.?" I tried again to tell her, and I was interrupted again with "That is not what I am asking you." I attempted again to tell her what was told to me. She fumbled with the computer keys and muttered under her breath. After some time of misspelling words and fumbling, she started to do my fingerprinting. She was rude, and scolding me the entire time. She accused me of purposely twisting my fingers and lifting them up too soon. I told her that I was not trying to do any of that. She snapped at me "WELL - YOU ARE." Meanwhile there is a line of customers that are witnessing this whole interaction. I never snapped back and I never raised my voice. Once done, she never uttered a word. She never said we were done or thank you OR ANYTHING. From the moment I walked into the Pack and Mail until the time I walked out- I felt verbally abused and humiliated. I will NEVER enter this store again. I have lodged a formal complaint against the store and this technician with Fieldprint. I am truly astounded at how I was treated. I have never ever been treated this poorly in all my 50 years on this earth. This place does not even deserve 1 star!! read more

I stopped checking Yelp in Lexington after moving here a few months ago because the reviews were so sparse. My brief Pack and Mail experience proved me foolish. While there are only two other Yelp reviews for Pack and Mail, they are spot on. Unlike the two other reviewers, I avoided completing a transactions with this sad excuse for a small business because the employee refused my business! Had to ship a very large bicycle box back to California and, according to this class act of an employee, it was too expensive, too time consuming for her, and too close to quitting time to actually complete said sale. "You don't seem to want my business. Should I take it elsewhere?" I asked. "Yes, please do," she replied. Wow. I have never been treated as poorly as I was today at this store. The woman working here was incredibly rude because I arrived 20 minutes before they closed. She then muttered "stupid" under her breath loud enough for me to hear. I took my items and left the store. I've lived in Lexington 7 years and like to support local businesses, but after today I will never return to this store. I wish I could give 0 stars. So I, like most of the other reviewers had a terrible experience here. I stopped in at 10:00 when they opened (which annoyed the woman working there) and I needed to use their computer to print off a shipping label because I don't have a printer right now. Wasn't greeted. The lady asks if "I know how to use it" which I answer "yes" and she walks away. Turns, out I didn't know how to use their awful, antiquated computer. The internet router wasn't even turned on and the computer wouldn't connect to the internet. I asked for help and the lady looked annoyed. She turned the internet on. Then I tried typing... it wouldn't type... I asked for help again. She looked even more annoyed. Turns out, she unplugged the keyboard so she could make a Zoom call... All in all it took over 30 minutes to get what I needed and then she tried to charge me the $2 computer use fee when the computer wouldn't work most of the time... today my girlfriend went in here to ship 4 huge cases of things via fed-ex. The owner, on a cordless phone. watches her struggle with 4 huge cases in the door, each weighing easily 60 lbs each, doesn't even make an effort to help her. than, after getting everything set up, he refuses to issue a receipt. She has shipped these cases dozens of times and not once has she ever been refused a receipt. extremely shady practice and she refused to leave them because if something happens, its her job. DON'T GO TO THIS BUSINESS! I thought how bad can they mess my shipment up since I already had my prepaid label and tracking number. I dropped off two packages and asked for them to be boxed together due to my prepaid for tracking that I provided. They can up with the box I needed so I paid for the box and left. They were supposed to pack and mail it. After I left, apparently unknow to me, they decided to pack it in two boxes so I could only track one of the packages. The customer only received the one box but now I am unable to track the second box. My cell number was on the prepaid label that I provided Pack and Mail so they could have called me. I only found out they sent it as two packages when the customer emailed saying they didn't receive everything. We asked for the tracking number from this Pack and Mail and they said they would have to go through hundreds of trackers to find it so after a week still nothing. We have no way to prove it was even sent. After over a week of receiving the first package, the customer said they still haven't received the second box but even if they did, we have no proof that they did so we loose $1,000! This business is an epic fail and should be looked into because they are messing with USPS shipments. read more

This place is horrible!! Even though they were supposed to ship parcels for free if you had an account number, they would collect a fee (cash) of $1.00 per package. I'm guessing that this illegal practice was discovered, so they have ceased doing it. However, they WILL NOT provide mailing boxes...the same ones that are free-for-the-taking at any UPS or FedEx self-service stand. I would never recommend this place to anyone. There are other places for mailing your packages, and the people there are actually helpful and friendly. Even if you have to drive further, I urge you to drive, drive, drive past this business. read more
