Eliesha worked on my piece, I had three different small tattoos combined and she managed to sketch it so perfectly. I can't wait to go back and get more work done by her. She was a sweetheart, so nice. All the staff are super friendly. I definitely recommend this place to everyone the staff are amazing and most importantly it was a very clean shop. Do people give gift vouchers for tatts? I soon discovered they were lovely and friendly and yes, they were happy to take my money. It seemed like destiny as I was just a walk in an had gone to two tattoo shops before going to the 7th circle. At first I showed him a tribal layout of Australia but it seemed too aggressively curved for me. I was looking for something more incan type style as I planned to expand to a chest and sleeve piece that was incan style. He took the data and drew up a sketch and I was super impressed! It looked great. He gave me some advice on the placement as I already had a tattoo in the region i wanted it. Once that was all settled we got to it. Great conversation to pass the time and great music. The finished product looked even better. Definitely recommend Sam's style. All the artists at the circle have great work, you can check out their artwork on their Instagram and get a bit inspired. As for price, no complaints at all. I think it would definitely cost probably double back in the states. I gave Sam a tip since I was extremely satisfied with the end product. Definitely would come back if I ever am back in the area. Jesse is an apprentice but I had complete faith in him, especially after meeting him at the shop for my consultation a few weeks back. The shop is rad! It's so clean and cozy. All of the artists are super friendly and seem to love being there. True Love requires a minimum $50 deposit for a tattoo, which you can pay in cash prior to your appointment, or pay thru PayPal! Which was really convenient. The tattoo I wanted was nothing I had seen Jesse do before, but he emailed me a sketch of his idea and I was so stoked it was almost exactly what I pictured. Jesse told me on appointment day, this style of tattoo was his first time ever doing anything like it. I'm absolutely impressed with the whole experience. Not to mention, my tattoo is so beyond perfect. Jesse will definitely be the one to finish my whole arm.

I had been hoping for (and promised) a sketch of my piece before the day of the appointment, but it didn't end up happening - which was cause for a bit of anxiety on my part, and probably the only disappointing part of my experience. Once I came to terms with my right to exercise my power to say "actually, that's not quite right yet, sorry", I rocked up for my appointment only to find out that there was absolutely nothing to fear. Pip had done an awesome job in translating my suggestions into exactly the picture I had in my brain. She was as professional as she needed to be, and the remainder of her was hilarious. The pricing was totally reasonable (True Love are cash-only, but there's an ATM at the supermarket around the corner). I look forward to going back to True Love.

These guys at Brisbane Tatoo are pretty talented and can do anything from cartoon style drawings to lifelike tattoos straight off photos. Like any Tattoo studio of high calibre their pretty expensive but the passion that they have is seen in the details of their work. As soon as I save up enough cash I'm going to hit them up and git it done. Tattoos of all styles for all types of people, just go in and hit them up.
