High intensity, high volume, randomized strength and conditioning, there are people from all levels and backgrounds/athletic abilities and ages Do not be intimidated to join, just do your best every time you show up. I was scared of going for a few weeks I kept thinking I better be in better shape before I go....another issue completely. Everybody there is friendly and encouraging especially our trainers, Lela, Steph and Charlene. It is not too chatty during the workout as we are moving quickly focused and for me just trying to keep the pace...Mutual respect is required, don't be late, don't steal, don't talk while the session is being demonstrated, be nice, bring a towel and help put things away! Be nice to new people!

The lessons program for children used to be fantastic and my kids were making huge strides. However…read moreover this past year, the program has gone done hill. It lacks consistency, not just between sessions, but also during the same session. My boys have not had the same instructor at all the last few sessions and are never placed in the correct level, even when their last sessions shows what level they should start in. There is not a consistent person in charge either, it constantly changes. When you try to discuss your concerns with the person in charge that day, they don't seem to care what you think. The lack of consistency makes you have to go for more sessions just to get the basic swimming progress. We've been attending for almost 3 years now, but after this session I think we'll have to find a new place to achieve better progress, which is very disappointing.

You're not stuck facing a wall on cardio equipment and each one has a tv with direct tv attached to it for ease. The music playing in the gym has been pretty good and I did notice you can snap a QR and add music to play over the speakers. The staff have been quite nice and the facility is clean. It's a little weird that there are giant bowls of candy at the front desk when most people there are trying to change or maintain a lifestyle of health & fitness. For those that are new or nervous in the gym, the circuit training is a great introduction. 30 minutes of weights and cardio, one step/machine at a time. We enjoy the hydro loungers at the end of our workouts, which is quite a nice way to relax afterwards, for a few minutes. What I don't like is the lack of privacy... sure you're dressed but whenever you're laying there, everyone that walks by looks at you like you're on display. I know, I may be weird about this, but a privacy curtain would be nice. I do wish there was a sauna or steam room to go along with the black card perks, but it's not a necessity, just wishful.
