I'm constantly hunting for great pizza, and was finally able to stop in here. I bought a large pepperoni pizza (as this is the best way to determine the quality of a pizza place). Fresh pizza - 8/10. Everyone in the restaurant was super nice. Great people. I called an hour before I needed to pick up, and it was ready and waiting for me, and they seemed to know it was me when I walked in. The large was bigger than I was expecting, which was nice, but it did feel pricey. ($22ish with tax). Overall good taste. Lots of delicious grease. Better than most pizza out there, but nothing super spectacular about it. Cold pizza - 7/10. Eating it cold the next day for lunch was good. It wasn't hard as a rock, and still pretty tasty. Stovetop reheat - 9/10. I mean, it was better on the reheat than fresh. The grease made it super toasty on the bottom, and the flavors seemed to come out more. Overall, I'm heading back. Looking forward to trying their gluten free crust. read more

We ordered a medium pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms and a Cesar salad to share . The pizza was great very chewy crust sauce was simple and not overpowering , mushrooms were fresh and just the right amount of cheese. My salad was good nice dressing good flavor. Food was less then average. BBQ sandwich not simply a BBQ sandwich as stated on their menu. It was spicy hot and should have been called a Spicy BBQ Beef Sandwich. So they replaced it with another sandwich free of charge and I was still left disappointed. Just a very average bland sandwich I could have made one better at home, but since I am here in town on a short vacay I chose this Pizza shop. We ordered pizza tonight. The guy who delivered didn't have a mask on which was concerning. I brought my food inside, opened the pizza and it was wrong. The sauce was also missing from my garlic bread order. I called the restaurant and explained that the pizza delivered was wrong and that I couldn't eat what was delivered due to dietary restrictions. Oddly I was told I had to hold so that they could check with the cook. They ended up sending the correct pizza. The delivery driver was again not wearing a mask. The replacement pizza was obviously rushed and not the quality I was used to. In the end I paid full price plus a 20% tip for the wrong food, subpar replacement food and an unmasked driver twice. This was our first time going here. The pizza was delicious but the people that worked here were even better! We got the Sandiegan pizza and it was so good. We were eating in and it took slightly longer than expected and they gave an extra slice. My daughter accidentally fell off the bench and the gentlemen that worked there was so nice and checked on her and gave her a cookie. I rarely give 5 stars. John and his crew deserve this. We've been going there since April. This is my favorite pizza place in poway. Crust is never over worked. Sauce is perfect. Cheese and "stuff" is carefully spread over the whole pizza. Generous with the cheese but not to the point where it's gooey. I don't give five stars for one good experience. These guys and gals are consistently great. John called me today on my order to make sure it was right. You've earned my business and lots of recommendations. Keep up the good work. read more

Pizza was absolutely delicious, not as oily as many other pizza restaurants. In fact, my pizza from here was probably the least greasiest pizza I've ever had (awesome). I am new to the Poway community and was looking to try a new local place. I decided to with this one based on yelp reviews and I was craving pizza. I ordered off Grubhub not expecting it to be the best since it was delivery but I was happy to discover otherwise. I ordered a large pepperoni and garlic pizza with pesto pasta and chicken strips. Everything was amazing!!! The pizza was delicious and the food came fresh and hot on my doorstep ahead of schedule. My family and I have been eating here several times and each time we come back, the quality seems to get worst and worst. The sauce is inconsistent. On some days, it's really good, but on days when they are busy like today, it was disgustingly gross. Look at the two orders of cheese pizza that we ordered. It looks and tasted completely different. One one order, it's thin crust, the sauce tasted better. On the three other order, the crust is thicker, the sauce was very salty and lack all the herbs that they normally use, and it looks like they used a different blend of cheese. You can completely tell the difference between the pizza (look at photo). We also ordered a meatball sub sandwich. The worst meatball subs I have ever tasted. Soggy bread, meatballs didn't have any texture or was mushy, the sauce was sour and didn't have any special seasoning. Definitely disappointed. Even my 10 and 13 year old kids complained about the food and these kids usually never complains unless it is super super bad. read more

Their customized pizza was perfect! Nice tomato sauce, and super tasty pepperoni and mushroom. Ordering was easy and prices are good. Great option for the area.
