I purchased a 1967 El Camino from Pacific motors. The manager Tanner said he was told it was a frame off restoration. Pacific Motors never checked the vehicle out it was not a frame off but all original with no upgrades. Tanner also said it had AC but he now says he never said that. The El Camino couldn't pass a simple BC inspection. It needs major front end work to make it safe plus lots of other work. I am really disappointed dealing with Pacific Motors, I would have expected a dealership would have at the very least checked the vehicle before even advertising it. read more

My service was excellent. I purchased a 2001 rav4. David was polite and expedient in getting a deal done. The skill he has to close a deal saved me a bunch of time. Pacific was the first dealership I checked out. There were some hiccups in getting the Rav fixed but Dave was able to help me out with a rental . He was great. I texted him every couple days after hours and he took time from his family to reply. When I picked up the car it was all cleaned up and Dave and his team installed my plates. This was the first time my wife saw the car and the solid service from pacific. She was nervous what we could buy for low cost but we spent all evening driving around running errands. Made a deal over the phone, test drove the vehicle, Safety certified with check engine light on? Whatever- stupid enough, was going to buy it anyways only for them to tell me, that they made a false advertisement. I asked 3 Times over the phone "Is the vehicle all wheel drive?" Acknowledging me- "yes, the vehicle is all wheel drive". Ready to get out my wallet and buy it- they're telling me "sorry,buddy its front wheel drive". Only to get me in another pos of theirs which you can't turn off the full blast of heat and flickering cab lights, sending me off with a rude see ya later, get f***ed or get lost, after trying to talk me into buying it anyways. Picked me up from McDonald's in a corvette though, with smoking tires going about 85km/h down portage in a 60 zone. Biggest waist of 4 hours in my life - fckn looser business. We have unfortunately had a very unpleasant, disappointing and regretful experience with Pacific Motors and would strongly discourage anyone from purchasing a vehicle from them. Within weeks of selling us a van this past summer that was promised to be "in excellent mechanical condition", we realized that it had been sold to us with winter tires on it (but this was not disclosed to us). We promptly purchased summer tires and while they were being installed, an engine coolant leak was noticed. This is a MAJOR and essential repair that certainly existed when we purchased the van. It costs $4500 to repair as the entire engine has to be removed. Long story short, and sparing the details, Pacific Motors refused to pay any of the cost. We made a complaint to the BBB as they have an "A+" rating (feel free to see our complaint on their website). We learned through the process that a company can keep their "A+" rating provided all they do is verbally acknowledge a complaint, but they don't have to do anything to respond and there is no accountability. Therefore, we encourage others to no longer consider a business's BBB rating as unfortunately does not mean very much. We strongly encourage others to keep shopping elsewhere when looking for a used vehicle, it will be worth the extra cost. read more
