We like to exchange our dollars for Philippine Pesos at a shop inside the mall. On the second floor of the mall there is a bunch of shops filled with all kinds of stuff. We bought a very cool backpack at a bargain price. There are a multitude of dining options both fast food and sit down. Heck, they even got a casino to fulfill your gambling desires. Mom and I splurged at this one store and after paying for our items we didn't want to see the rest of the stores anymore for fear of spending more $$. What's cool is they often have sales and discounts, so you can get good stuff for less money. Besides shopping, there are lots of places to eat. The people who work there are helpful and friendly. Plus, they have lots of coffee, Boba, and sweet dessert stores where you can treat yourself to something tasty while you shop or hang out. Large Shopping Mall [CEBU CITY, Philippines]…read more What da wow! This mall is H-U-G-E! This is a super mall claiming to be the 4th largest mall in the world! Now that's impressive. SM Seaside located in Cebu has everything -- Shopping, Dining, Entertainment, Movies, and Services. I thought I was back in the U.S. when I saw retail stores like American Eagle, Columbia Sportswear, Cotton On, Crocs, Footlocker, H&M, Guess, Levi's, M·A·C, Miniso, Oakley, The North Face... they still have an Esprit store ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ... and food franchise stores like Auntie Anne's, Burger King, Cinnabon, Dominos Pizza, Dunkin' Donuts, Gong Cha, KFC, Krispy Kreme, Sbarro, and, of course, Starbucks! Mom and I were looking for souvenir shops and found some at a store called Island Souvenirs. An employee was very helpful in finding the right sizes for us when we were shopping for novelty shirts. We also found Kultura, a franchise souvenir shop (I love this store). I found some stores with clever names: John Lemon (juice bar), Belle Lumiere -- characters from Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" (aesthetic salon), and Eye Browse (optical). They have bowling, ice skating, and movies for entertainment. SM Seaside is one of the biggest malls in Visayas and the largest shopping mall in Cebu City. The mall has five (5) floors with over 700 stores!! 12 of them are anchor stores. The Philippines has some of the biggest malls! So crazy! My only complaint... they should have more electronic floor maps of the mall sprinkled everywhere... you know, like ones that point on the map "You are here" because it's so easy to get lost here. In the good ole U.S.A going to the malls is something I do not like at all so I rarely step inside one. In the Philippines, though, I look forward to stepping inside their doors. Robinsons Galleria in Cebu City is one of the newer and largest ones in Cebu. There are about 4 or 5 levels of shops to explore. I do enjoy exploring and getting exercise in this air conditioned haven. Terrific selection of stores and food places plus so much else. Most of the staff I come across are friendly. Robinsons is super clean, and it is not too crowded. If you are a foreignor visiting Cebu, chances are you will be a fan of Robinsons Galleria too. Step inside and find out.

I also like to say that there are many security guards that keep the visitors safe. That's what I like. They don't just let anyone in here. With many floors and shops to explore. You do have to pay for parking, a few pesos depending on how long you're there. You can get parking validated from most places. Most of the time we walked there. :)
