After two amazingly crappy attorneys (not just my opinion there are other reviews to attest to this), Geoffrey got it done. It did not help that the other two incompetent attorneys who didn't last very long on my case did not work out. Sometimes you just have to find the right fit. not sure how the first two attorneys Jennifer and Keith stay in business. Ms. rude and mr. stupid. So thanks Geoffrey, for saving the day.

I was in the middle of a complicated and highly acrimonious divorce that was going nowhere. It had…read morebeen dragging on for years. It was further complicated because of both my finances (high tech options, etc.) and the ex-spouse's. My attorney at the time seemed overwhelmed by the complexity and more intent on maintaining a good relationship with the opposing counsel than in helping me. Well, I fired that firm and retained R.S.C. Law Group. Almost immediately, Rory and his team turned things around and within six months, we were settling out of court, which, for both sides, was the best possible outcome. Rory and team demonstrated top-flight organizational and strategic skills. No detail was missed in the process. And he and the team were able to achieve this with the utmost level of professionalism and civility toward the opposing counsel and client. I am grateful to Rory and team and do not hesitate to recommend them.

My ex and I were separated at the time but not on paper, so going to the police did nothing for me. Even as the mother of my children, law enforcement told me their hands were tied without any legal documents. He had my children in another County away from our home and I feared that would complicate things. Since Tessa is a divorcee herself, she is highly relatable and eased me into the process with real life accounts and uplifting me during this tough time. She is realistic and supportive, she walked me through the processes and had pre-meetings with me for court dates anytime I requested it. She made getting my children back a priority. We did encounter some hurdles with the local police in the city my kids were being held but Tessa kept pushing forward with different options and avenues for me. I was able to get my children back right around Mothers day and it felt like a miracle! They failed to handle my documents properly so the thing I paid them thousands to prepare wasn't even considered by the court. Carolyn was my fourth hire…read more Never once did I find a lawyer that had the bedside manner, the legal smarts, the organization (including regular billing cycles and consistent/timely communication), the will to fight for you and have your back -- basic things that one wants/needs in a lawyer and Carolyn was no exception. Why lawyers think it is okay to ignore clients and let calls and emails go unanswered just floors me. When I brought up the issue, Carolyn said that my mistake was in not copying Melissa, her assistant. But the issue still persisted even when I copied her. Surprisingly, what Carolyn confessed was that she wants to work with clients where the children will feel the direct impact of her service in a positive way. She wants to be in the courtroom. This is admirable, but everything else, (and most of family law is the infuriating back and forth negotiating and mind numbing calculation and modifications) she puts off as a low priority. When I asked her to explain legal terms to me, either she did not want to or she did not know how to. She made me feel like I was stupid and stubborn and foolish for not taking her advice. She did not refute false information that my ex submitted in legal documents. She overcharged me. Had I not kept meticulous records of my calls and emails with her, I would have missed her overcharging me by $8000. Bananas! Ultimately, she did not have my back. Does Carolyn know the law and understand the family court and differing styles of the judges? I guess so. But that's it. She is cold. She is impatient. She may lack feeling at this stage of her career. I truly regret hiring her.
