I contacted and went to see this school hoping to enroll my child and let them know that he has…read moreautism and currently receives speech and occupational therapy. He is high-functioning but has difficulty communicating and expressing his needs verbally. He has also just turned 2, so he still had a lot of growth to do. I was asked whether I would be able to provide support or assistance for him while he attended. I am a working mom, they wanted me to be at the school with him which I cannot because how would I be able to afford the tuition without working. I was then told that I would receive a call back, but no one ever followed up with me after I was told on the phone I would need to assist him in the school. Although, my child has autism he is very capable. I think the word taunted the director creating a bias before even actually working with my child. The experience left me feeling that the school is not inclusive. I would recommend looking elsewhere if your child is neurodivergent or has any type of learning disability in any way. Thankfully, my child is now attending another school where he is welcomed, supported, and thriving.

Over the past 2 and half years, we have seen significant growth in her emotional and mental well being. We do not have any close family near by so initially she had a hard time warming up to the teachers/support she did not see on a normal basis. The teachers, directors and the Montessori approach made it easier for her to become the little confident person she is today in which I thank them for their care and support. Additional Notes: The school itself is located on PCH so it is a busy during rush hour. There are times that getting in and out of the school can be troublesome. However, the school itself feels secure and I didn't worry too much about her safety as there are a lot of gates. Since we have been there for a while, we have seen a few changes in staff and was questionable at times. However, the current director does her best to manage the changes and notifies the parents as soon as possible. The director and teachers are very caring and do their best to accommodate the changes as well. The school uses an app for communication about your child and it is very convenient as they update throughout the day such as meals and if they took a nap, etc. It made me feel less anxious. I do feel that they are aligning well with the academics while fully embracing the Montessori guidance. My daughter does well with independent play and loves to learn. She shows an interest in many subjects. Thank you PCMA for the good memories and we will miss you guys!

Baby Bubbles Infant Care - Graduation day‍

She had been with Ms. Patty and her team at BBIC since roughly 5/6 months old. The care she received here truly felt like an extension of how her father and I care for her at home. As a first time mom, I was so nervous to leave my tiny baby with someone outside of the home but after our first meeting with Ms. Patty, my husband and I knew we had found the perfect match. Baby Bubbles specifically offers infant care, so only a small group of babies/children will be enrolled at any given time. The ratio of caregiver to child is often 1:1, with each child receiving lots of love & care tailored to their specific needs. Our daughter had to go through the helmet process (IYKYK!) and everyone at BBIC was more than willing to work with us through the process. Our daughter definitely developed some really special bonds while here and was quite attached to everyone who cares for her at BBIC. She arrived every morning excited to be greeted at the front door, and couldn't wait to jump in with her playmates. She even cried at times when I would arrive to pick her up at the end of the day! By the time she "graduated" at two years old, she had learned all the basic sign language, could sing her ABCs and could even count to 10 in both English, and Spanish! She actually still says "mas" when she wants more lol Her caregivers, and the little friends she made here, were really the only thing she'd known outside of her dad and I so we were truly sad to leave - I cried after we picked her up on the last day! This really is such a special place and you definitely get the sense that you're part of a little family.

My son is excited when he gets dropped off in the morning and he sleeps great at night because he had so much fun. I would highly recommend the BBIC team to any families in the area

In the beginning he cried for about a month and the teachers were so patient and kind to him. He loves his teachers. They hold his hand and walk with him to make him feel comfortable and safe. Now he loves it and has no problems going to school. He comes home excited telling me about his day, singing new songs, cleans up after himself, and so much more that he has learned from attending this school. The environment is very clean and inviting along with the staff. I absolutely love Mrs. Evian, the director, and Ms. Mary, the owner. They both are very friendly and greets you everyday with a "good morning" and "have a great day ". They also allow you to watch your child through the windows of the classrooms if you wanted to see your child in class or outside in the playground. I also love that the teachers take pictures of the kids throughout the day so we can view what they do daily. This is a must see school and highly recommended.

Since enrolling our daughter 2 years ago, we've seen such incredible growth in her--both socially and developmentally. She's become more confident, communicative, and curious, and it's been so rewarding to watch her thrive in this environment. The teachers and staff truly make this place special. They are warm, patient, and incredibly dedicated to the children in their care. It's clear how much effort and heart they put into what they do every single day. We especially appreciate the balance they maintain--while they keep parents informed and updated, their main focus is rightfully on caring for and engaging with the kids. We understand that constant, hourly updates aren't realistic in a hands-on environment like this, and it honestly reassures us that their time and attention are going toward the children. We always feel that our daughter is safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. The communication we do receive is thoughtful and meaningful, and we trust the team completely. You can truly tell that this school puts a lot of thought into creating a positive and enriching environment. We're so grateful to have found a place where our daughter is happy, learning, and growing every day. Highly recommend to any parents looking for a loving and supportive daycare! We would like to mention every person who has helped in our daughter's development and character: Thank you to Teacher Charlie and Ms. Diana. Ms. DeJahnae, Ms. Marie, Ms. Ciara, Ms. Jenna Ms. Cynthia, Ms. Dilrushki, Ms. Zahra, Ms. Nicole Ms. Mary, Ms. Lizbeth, Ms. Marsol, Ms. Jeong And of course, Chef Jose. As a mom, I'm sure everyone can relate when I say that, even though our children are still so young, we want to start them off as early as possible in an environment that provides the very best education, care, and foundation for their future. My ultimate goal for my daughter was to find somewhere she felt safe, comfortable, loved, and encouraged to learn, not somewhere where she was simply playing all day. She had previously attended two other schools, and through those experiences, I learned that what mattered most to me was finding a school that could truly unlock a child's talents through a combination of learning AND play. Leap & Bound has one of the best, if not THE best, curriculums I have experienced for young children. My daughter has been with them since she was 2, and she is now 4. In that time, she has learned how to write her name, count in Spanish, and so much about science and the world around her. I'll never forget one day when she came home and excitedly told me they had made DNA! As a mom, hearing things like that absolutely amazed me. I truly owe so much of my daughter's development, confidence, curiosity, and love for learning to the incredible teachers and staff at Leap & Bound. They have played such a huge role in shaping the little person she is today. It is so bittersweet to be leaving our Leap & Bound family because we are moving to the East Coast. But I will forever be grateful that we found this school and that my daughter had the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive there. If you are a family searching for a school that not only values play, but is equally passionate about education, development, and creating a close-knit family environment, this is the school for you. I cannot recommend Leap & Bound enough!

But due to…read morean upcoming trip, she would have to leave the country for a little over a month so it was time to find an alternate option for child care while my wife and I are working. Though relatively short notice, we had about 3 months to look at our options. As most parents do, we have asked around for recommendations from our friends and my own independent research. Unfortunately, all of those locations were either a capacity or were not accepting children until the following year. We were almost about to give up and just hire a temporary nanny to care for our daughter during work hours when we stumbled upon Little Stars Learn & Play Center. Curious, I called the number listed on yelp/google and the administrator, Ms. Asma, answered. We told her about our situation and that we were looking for a daycare to watch our then 22 month old daughter. She recommended we schedule a tour for just my wife and I to get a feel of the facilities and teachers. The building is very inconspicuous which you kind of hope for obvious reasons, the exterior clean and presentable. Upon entering inside, we were greeted by Ms Asma and introduced us to the facility. We immediately had a positive gut feeling and decided to schedule a day to drop our daughter off for a few hours to get her acclimated. There are two main rooms, one for toddlers (younger kids) and another for older kids (pre-school). We did this for about a week and decided to extend the stay out a few more hours 3 days a week. Ms Asma, Ms Tina and Ms Angel were awesome from the start, they were more than willing to work with our daughter who is very advanced for her age but has a lot of anxiety, particularly struggling with separation anxiety. They were patient with her and helped her transition smoothly to the day to day. Though she still has some anxiety during drop off, our daughter has fun all day and pick-up is night and day, almost no more tears! She eats better at school, plays nicely her friends (classmates) and comes home every day with a new word or phrase. We are eternally grateful for the teachers and staff at Little Stars and our own anxiety has also improved. Finding daycares is very stressful for both parents and kids, and it is a relief we found an awesome one!
