As a first time home buyer, I was nervous to start this journey, and did not really know what to expect from the whole process. I was very lucky to be referred to Rob Vollmer, with Pacific Coast realty! I learned so much throughout this process, and Rob was exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He went above and beyond to make sure that I found the perfect home, and to ensure that I understood exactly how everything would go, and to get me the best deal possible with my fist home purchase. He communicated constantly with me and the sellers/loan brokers, left no stone unturned, helped me accomplish things that I had no idea how to do (and thoroughly explained them to me during and afterwards), and even helped by making calls for me on days that I was working and unable to do so myself. He made what is generally made out to be a very stressful process, easy, fun, and painless. I would 1,000 % recommend Rob to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. He is the type of person that genuinely wants to help you find your perfect place, has your best interest in mind, will not pressure you to settle for something that you are not 100% on, will be patient enough to take you to 45 properties all over San Diego county in 8 days, and will treat you not just like a client, but a friend. I could not be happier with my experience with Rob, and my new home! Thank you, Rob, for being the best realtor I could have asked for, and for being just an all around awesome guy to know! read more

12 years ago, I was looking to purchase a condo.  My friend from work recommended Rob and it was the best recommendation!  Rob was so patient and supported me in finding my perfect home that both met my budget, and a place that I can see as my first home for me and my dog.   He explained everything to me thoroughly back then and was so patient!   The market was tough back then and had lots of competition.  Rob never once pressured me to settle for a place just to earn a commission.  Fast forward to now, I am selling my first condo (the same one he helped me purchase) and know that I can once again trust Rob to go througih the process with me as a seller.   Robii as always was super patient in explaining everything.   He does his research very thoroughly.   He will get escrow to produce estimates on what you would take home after the sale, so you have a whole picture before you decide if you want to sell.  He will support you with whatever you need without once pressuring you.  Once we decided to sell our condo, he went above and beyond what a realtor would do for you.  He will treat you as a family and always have your best interest at heart.  He will try to get the most money he can for you but also be honest with you about the reality of the market and what to expect.  He is a wonderful communicator!  He will keep you in the loop every step of the way but also take on so much of the pressure for you so you can continue living your life without stress.  I have 2 young kids, and he knows and he knows I have my hands full therefore, he took care of a lot of the minor things that need my attention for the condo before we put it in the market.  He texted me with all the updates since he knows I like being kept in the loop.  I honestly would use Rob for any purchases or selling in the future and cannot recommend him enough.  If you want a trustworthy, hard-working realtor who will treat you as family (good family member) then you would never go wrong with trusting Rob with your purchasing or selling real estate needs.   I recommend him 1000%.   Thanks for everything Rob!  You're absolutely the best! read more

How do you begin entertaining the idea of being a homeowner? Talking to a realtor can seem intimidating. In a sea of realtors, how can you truly trust one that you know will always have your best interests in mind? A realtor that is honest and will do everything they can to make home buying as smooth as possible. We are so lucky we found Rob to work with us in our home buying journey. Rob was referred to us by a friend who had nothing but great things to say about him. He is well-versed in traditional loans as well as what we used, VA Loans. Rob worked seamlessly to contact sellers and our lender to make sure we are getting the lowest rate possible and to verify the numbers are correct. We're not good at negotiating, so we really appreciate Rob is an expert at it. He was our voice and our advocate during what is probably the most expensive purchase in our lives. We are so thankful and so happy Rob was there for us. He never pressured us to do anything we weren't certain on, he always responded and welcomed all of our questions, and he genuinely wanted us to be happy with the home we choose. If you were like us, unsure of where to even begin, we sincerely recommend Rob. read more

ROB IS THE BEST. He is a wonderful realtor and a genuinely nice person! You won't regret working with him. Here are some details about our experience so that others can make a smart decision, like we did! We looked for a little over a month with Rob. He found us so many places we liked and made offers on a few of them. He was extremely good at arranging appointments in an order that made sense and saved us all time while looking. His communication skills are fantastic, not just with us, but with realtors, lenders, escrow, etc. After missing out on places because of other people making ridiculous offers, we started to feel discouraged. Rob assured us that he would get us the right place soon and kept us positive. Next thing you know, we find another house we love and put an offer in. Rob got our offer accepted for only 6k over listing without removing the appraisal contingency!!!During the time we were buying, this was unprecedented. Homes were selling for around 50k over list with appraisal contingencies removed... I truly believe that no other realtor could have done what he did during this covid craziness. After the offer was accepted it was smooth sailing. Rob made everything so easy and really took care of us. We hardly had to do anything other than thoroughly read and sign documents. Rob literally did the rest. Thanks so much Rob! read more

We can not say enough wonderful things about Rob Vollmer/Pacific Coast Realty and the excellent experience we had finding a home in the San Diego area with him as our realtor. Even in this crazy market and our limited time frame to find a home due to a job relocation, Rob helped us secure the house we wanted with ease and made the process enjoyable. He covered all the bases along the way, with his expertise and clear communication skills. Would highly recommend Rob for your real estate needs! read more

Rob was super friendly and professional. We are first time homebuyers and he really helped us understand the process and made sure that we never felt pressured and that we ended up in the right house. We love our new place and we wouldn't have gotten the house without him. There were several other offers on our house but Rob got ours accepted with higher offers on the table! He was patient with us and communicated with us daily (or more sometimes). We felt supported the whole time in what can be a scary process. Not only that though, he was a shark when it came to negotiating which is crucial right now with the market being what it is. 10 out of 10, would recommend! read more

10/10 would recommend our realtor, Rob Vollmer, to anyone buying or selling in the San Diego area!! My husband and I were first time home buyers looking for a move-in ready, single family home during the pandemic. What we thought was going to be a long and stressful process was made quick and easy by Rob. Our timeline was shorter than usual because we have a baby on the way and needed to move in with time to prepare. We appreciate clear communication and Rob delivered! He prepared us for the entire home buying process and managed all our expectations. When we found the house we now call home, Rob was able to secure the very first showing of the property. He then worked diligently with us to submit a strong and strategic offer. The home had 100 showings and received 20 offers, including ours...having our offer accepted felt like a long shot. Rob's hard work, experience, excellent communication, and relationship building skills led to our offer being accepted!! He made it happen for our family and he will make it happen for yours! We will definitely work with Rob in the future and cannot thank him or recommend him enough! -Matt and Steph :D read more

I don't even know where to start about our amazing experience with Rob Vollmer from Pacific Coast realty....So I had to break it all down: MORTGAGE PROCESS: We didn't know the first thing about mortgages, luckily Rob has a strong loan background which turned out to be a most valuable asset. He guided us with terms we could understand and got us a great fixed rate. He is available 24-7, text, email, phone--he's on it and very quick to respond! He utilizes this E-signature program that is so convenient to sign documents without even leaving your house. HOUSE HUNTING: We gave him an idea of what we were looking for, hours later we were sent an easy to navigate MLS listing. We circled which we wanted to view and the next day he had our showings scheduled. He spent an entire day showing us 6 properties. We met at the 1st one, where we were provided a well organized folder for the day (including directions, a pre-mapped out route, and more) did I mention how organized he is!? MAKING THE OFFER: Once we found the home we wanted, he was out of town for the weekend. But that didn't stop him-- he still quickly answered texts/emails and made it happen. Step by step, hour by hour-- he kept us updated with status of our offer. He fought hard and got us $5,000 below asking price AND got the seller to include all appliances. He even got us a 1 year home warranty (worth $500) and a sweet rent back deal (sellers paid us to stay an extra week since we didn't need a fast move in). HOME INSPECTION, APPRAISAL, ESCROW, and MOVE IN: He was timely and present at every appointment to represent us. He was our advocate and made sure we got everything we wanted. He was so on top of keeping us updated. A minimum of 1 text a day on the progress, and what to expect next. We felt like we were his only clients, he was so present and available. The day we got the keys to our new house, he met us there with a big hug and a giant sold sign for our obligatory family picture (he remembered I mentioned that 60 days ago when we put the offer in). He strategically placed personalized gifts for us throughout the new cupboards to find. Totally above and beyond! He stuck around after too, he didn't just stop at closing. He even is helping to arrange home security install and answer any questions we still had. As east coast transplants, we never in a million years imagined owning a San Diego home. He took away all our worries about the leap into homeownership. We could not have asked for a smoother buying process from start to finish. If these outrageous rent prices have you thinking about buying, give him a call--I promise you won't be disappointed! read more

We were lucky to find Rob as our realtor. We were referred to him by my coworker. We are second time homebuyers. Our first time being in Wisconsin, and the process in California was different and Rob did a good job of making sure we knew what was going on throughout the entire process. We were relocating from they Bay Area to SoCal, and while normally you meet with your realtor often, since it was during Covid, it was unlikely we would have been able to meet with him often anyways. So we didn't feel like we missed out on much. Fortunately for us, the first house we toured virtually and eventually in person, was our dream house, and Rob did everything to ensure we got it. Our house was only on the market for 11 days when we saw it on Zillow, and we wanted to jump on it right away. He gave the sellers our offer and they said they'd accept it, but they wanted us to see it in person first before an official offer was made. We went the next week to see it and our offer was accepted the same day! From there on out, there was just constant communication about where we were in the process, and what we needed to sign. Since we weren't first time homebuyers, we didn't have any options to help with our down payment, and he made our offer to help us have a minimal down payment while still making it a win win for us and the seller. Throughout the process we met Rob when he drove 2 hours for the in person tour, and he was so kind as to go back right before closing to do the final walk-through and show us via facetime all the repairs that were done that we asked for. We really appreciated that, since we lived 7+ hours away from the house. read more

This man was amazing! We couldn't ask for a better realtor. He was always available 24/7 answering any questions we may have and was with us every step of the way. He helped us find our home and also found us a great loan. This guy knows his stuff! We are beyond grateful that we had Rob as our realtor. We had such a smooth process, thanks to all of Rob's help. As first-time home buyers: we were really scared and had a lot questions. However, he was very patient with us and helped us throughout the entire process. He answered all our (my) questions and was always available... even if it was early morning, late at night or during the weekend- he was only a call/text away. We had recently sold our property in Redondo Beach and decided to buy one in Oceanside. But, between the intense activity in selling our RB property and the driving distance between the cities, our introduction to Oceanside was, as expected, rather slow and tentative, as it took us a while to become familiar with the area, the neighborhoods and local construction styles. After seeing many properties for several months and without much success, we finally came across this beautiful home in the heart of Rancho del Oro and this was actually our first offer...and we lost it. The bidding was not lost because of $$-amount, but rather because of the selling agent's limited knowledge about reverse mortgage (RM), plus her control and influence over the seller's decision making and, finally, because of our own agent's lack of commitment and drive to defend our (the highest) bid. So, really disappointed at our agent's performance, on the next property that we approached we decided to go straight to the selling agent and, although it may sound odd, we actually asked a selling agent to be our buying agent, but how lucky of us it was that this agent happened to be no less than Robert Vollmer of Pacific Coast Realty, in San Diego. And man, what a change...From the get-go Rob was everything that our ex-agent was not. He emerged full of energy and very knowledgeable, with an immediate and noticeable commitment to our needs and concerns, showing a highly professional demeanor at every step. To help even more, Rob came with financing experience that did include RM financing and he agreed in that, with an agent better versed in RM, our $$-superior bid may have won us that house that we so much wanted. With Rob, our search took a different turn, as in more intense and focused. He timely brought to us listings that focused in to our search criteria, clearly keeping us busy with material that was relevant, so as to not making us waste any of our precious searching efforts with some wrong search criteria. The world of Real Estate is complex and confusing to the untrained eye, so an agent of Rob's caliber, an agent who walks you right through this difficult path and who inspires a high level of confidence is really important to have on your side. His guidance immediately makes you feel that you are in good hands, explaining every step, or suggesting every possible step, in terms that the client can easily understand. He exudes that "can-do" attitude, which, along with always having the correct answer to "what's next", really does boost this confidence in him. Rob is a person who takes a second look at something that he may have not agreed with the first time, meaning that he makes the extra effort to reconsider a client's point of view and not to always insist that "he must be right because he's the agent". Yes, he listens. When it comes to negotiating, Rob really shines. His concern for the client's protection, for what's best and for what's the most convenient alternative is impressive. The way he handled our offer(s) and the house inspection issues, along with the knowledgeable manner in which he negotiated with the selling agent, made it possible for us to get our property at a highly competitive price and free of hardware worries. In this regard, his use of electronic signature documents was very convenient, especially like in our case being so far away from the local escrow office. Rob successfully interfaced with our RM group, since he had the convenience of having previously handled RM loans. There were some other issues that came up during the negotiations, but Rob just smoothly flew over the difficulties, easily resolving everything until the close of escrow. This is an agent you can trust, an agent who really knows the business and who truly understands what the client-agent scenario is all about and he does all this exhibiting a great, positive attitude, which makes it a pleasure to work with him. I would highly recommend Rob Vollmer to be your next Real Estate Agent because he proved to be the perfect and most welcome solution after that experience with our previous agent, showing us what a difference a true professional can make and Rob IS that true professional. We're very happy in our new home and we thank Rob for making it all possible. read more

What could I possibly say about Rob....well, he is an essential part of me and my family's life!!!
