In short, PCE is a great company. We had a water leak from hell that other contractors wouldn't touch. George, the owner, fixed it in record time and saved us thousands of dollars in the process. The full story: We had a water leak in the water main between the water meter and the house. The leak was under a large fir tree. To complicate matters our electrical, cable and phone lines, along with our neighbor's, ran under the tree. We removed the tree and had the stump ground but remnants of the stump and roots prevented easy access to the leak. We received several quotes but no one was willing to attempt a repair. Everyone said we would need to run a new water line. We found the PCE website and spoke with George. He felt confident that he could expose the leak and fix it. He arrived promptly and gingerly worked his way through the remaining stump and roots with a shovel, chain saw and small excavator. It's a good thing he was so careful because the electrical utility was mismarked by two feet. The leak was directly on top of the electrical utility and the cable line! Plus, the electrical lines weren't in a conduit. He saved us thousands of dollars and headaches that would have come with running a new line (breaking up concrete in the garage, etc). We can't speak highly enough of George. He is very professional, has a nice personality and a great work ethic. Over the years we've hired numerous small contractors for work around the house. I'm extremely satisfied with the work George did for us. We had a main line leak between our water meter and our home, and he worked with leak detectors to locate and repair the leak. I loved that he had the equipment needed so we wouldn't be working with multiple companies, and he did the asphalt repair also. He saw the job through to completion in a timely manner and checked to make sure it was completely resolved before finishing up. We would absolutely call him again for future projects! We asked George if he could level out back yard as it was VERY uneven. He communicated with us our options, and listened to our vision. He brought in the dirt and not only leveled things out but made sure there was a very level spot for our trampoline. It looks 50 times better than it did and I don't have to worry about spraining an ankle. George and his team were also super friendly and was easy to communicate with.
