What a nifty little shop this is. When I worked at the Persian Rug shop in New Town I used to get…read moresent to a different branch to do bulk photocopying and they always did a great job. This time I just needed a an A4 envelope to send off my acceptance letter for my masters in (sorry, had to get that in there, I'm very excited), so I thought I'd give the Morningside Road branch a look. They run a slick, professional service here, I've always been impressed with them. As Mark W. says, the website gives you the low down on all their services, but, briefly, they do mainly copying, printing and shipping. The staff in this particular branch are really friendly and only too happy to help. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else for your printing and copying needs.

They have a few shops across Edinburgh, with the premises I visited being in Morningside, not far from Holy Corner. I visited here for a relatively small job - scanning one sheet of A4 and saving it to a USB stick. The job was done with a couple of minutes, and the staff were swift and helpful. Judging from the amount of completed printing lying around, it is a well used service. Their website is well worth a visit, and has comprehensive information on all the services they offer, as well as giving you the option to track and trace shipments, get quick quotes for parcels, and rent mailboxes, all from the home page. It is slick and professional-looking, which helps to add to the credibility of the company. I couldn't fault the job they did for me, and have given them a rating of 3 stars. The true test for Mailboxes Etc would be with a bulk printing order, but I would have no qualms about using them again.

You're not dealing with a company, here; you're dealing with people. People who will learn your…read morename and treat you, also, like a person when you walk through the door. Karen and Ed are a delight to deal with. I delivered them my creative in a mad rush only one full day before I needed my postcards to be ready in my grubby little mitt, telling them I knew everybody probably said the same thing but if there was any way, any way at all that they could turn them around really quickly for me, that would be just great... Well, wow. There were a couple of issues with the creative and Karen rang me up to invite me in and talk to Ed, the chap in charge of the machines, to consider the various results that different printing techniques would provide. I went on down, and words like "overprint" and "offset" were said, but the main point was that Ed showed me exactly what the options looked like, *because he had already done a test run of each*. My favourite bit was when, as he explained the difficulties presented by one particular aspect of my design, he said "I know my machine." Well, even if that means "this won't work", that's the kind of thing you want a printer to be able to say. I even started to develop a strange affection towards this strange, headstrong, inky beast of which he spoke. As for the turnaround, I was becoming aware that getting a thousand postcards printed in one day just isn't doable, and I told them that it was absolutely fine, I'd find a way to work around. As I turned to leave, Karen called me back. "Wait! How would a part order do for Friday morning, say half of them, and collect the rest on Monday lunchtime?" OH MY! Yes! Thank you; perfect! And THEN it turned out that they do free morning delivery so I didn't even have to bimble on down there in person again on Monday. I was quoted exactly the price on the website, with no extra for the test runs, awkwardness, super-speed, delivery or their amazing flexibility. Every time I spoke to Karen on the phone it felt more like a chat with a friend. What lovely people to deal with. Every possible problem (all caused by me) they overcame with warmth; they went the extra mile at every stage. Thanks, printyfolks. You rock, and I will be using you again.

They have great facilities. Passport photos and uploading iphone photos onto a disc. No doubt more things available. Until today I've had nothing but great things to say. The owner is charming and Gavin Hill Graphics downstairs is superb. He did a menu for us a Himalaya Cafe. Tell you more about his fabulousness in a review of his business. Back to kodak place. Careful of the new staff member -Zain - a extremely unhappy back chatting unthinking robotic individual. I simply wanted to pay for my prints whilst staying logged on. As I thought I might have done them wrongly and not knowing if I had more to do online. As a customer I feel I don't need to explain all this. Dare I say a hugely annoying man! I will definitely go again as it is the only internet place at the top of Newington. I'll not speak to him ever again. Enjoy everyone!!

The previous week I went in and was asked why I had not left a number - err reason your staff never asked " - I wasn't expecting alot as your disinterest in customers is pretty legendary but I want to make sure everyone knows that the cd I got for for an half an hours running and I got a 16.57 - even basic maths tells me something is missing. The cassette tape was not broken and was still able to be turned it in the spools. I sang on this CD when I was 12 and since my birthday was next week and I am 54 its pretty vintage but I will now have to get the cassette fixed and spliced. Thanks for being so rubbish. I will be contacting your Kodak office
