All the papers have been completed for over a week now and no one else has actually called as of yet. The way she treated my father was amazing. Very kind and very intellegent. I thought that was too much for some paperwork to be filed and never to called and notified about the case. I think he took advantage of an old lady who doesn't speak good English. This review has taken me longer to write then I anticipated because putting my feelings, my…read morefamily's feelings, and figuring out how to summarize the gratitude into words is not something that comes naturally to me. So please take this into consideration as you read my review. I was a single father trying to start over when I finally stumbled upon Rich Rochlin. As you may be doing yourself I was going down google calling and explaining my case to anyone that would listen to find help for my custody case. I called one of the top known attorneys on google and went over my situation. Single dad, toxic relationship, abusive alcoholic mother that lost her child to dcf. No attorney wanted to touch my case. Several never even called me back. Then I spoke to Rich Rochlin after given his number from one of the specialized father attorneys I called. I explained to him that my goal was just to keep my daughter safe and for her to grow up in a positive environment. At that point I was scared for my daughters future even though she had supervised visits with her mother at the time and she wanted more visitations. Rich took this to heart and crafted a path way to get there. He not only became my attorney in May of 2020 he became a life long trusted friend. Throughout the last two years Rich did not tell me what I wanted to hear he told me what I needed to hear. When I hit my breaking point of calling it quits he gave me the motivation and push I needed to keep going for my child. Did he say everything I wanted him to say to me? Hell No, in fact Rich pushed me to a point I never imagined I would get to. He pushed me to put aside my personal feelings towards my child's mother and challenged me into a new thinking process. There are going to be times in every family custody case where you will hit your breaking point and just want full custody or no custody at all because of the amount of stress that can consume you. You may just want to give up or fight until every last stipulation is exactly what YOU want. Rich will be there to guide you through these times and kick your ass in gear if needed. I am beyond thankful to have Rich as my attorney through these years to keep me going toward the right direction for my daughter. Not only is my daughter now safe with her mother, my daughter is the happiest she has ever have been... If your a single Dad or Mom needing direction on what to do next or how to handle the next obstacle do not hesitate to call Rich. He will be there for you to do everything in his power to keep your child safe, happy, and be a supporting rock to your new foundation. Months later Rich still checks in to see how my family is doing. Why? Because he cares. Thank you Rich for everything and I know that no matter what I have someone to count on for any of my legal needs. If you are in doubt on if you should have a consult with Rich I hope that this shows some perspective on how amazing this man is as not only an attorney but a human being. Thank you for your time reading my review! Good luck with your case. -Douglas Bennett

Here's the story: After speaking to around a dozen different lawyers, no one knew about the particular issue I was dealing with and those that knew a little didn't give me a very clear nor comforting solution--and I was on the call with some of these lawyers for up to an hour. When Jim called me back, he was very familiar with the situation and answered all of my questions in 20 some minutes and provided me with a very clear and simple and easy solution to the entire problem. He didn't even charge me. Jim is also an incredible listener, able to update his suggested approach based on new information I shared with him. When I asked him if we may need his help to take care of the issue by paying him a retainer, he told us that it wasn't that complicated and he trusted us to take care of the issue. I feel so much relief about the entire situation. Thank you so much Jim!
