I wish I could give it ZERO stars. I left on my second visit frustrated and embarrassed…read more I am a health care provider at one of the two big hospitals in the area so I am educated on how insurances work and how most medications have side effects. I was interested in western medicine and what it could offer so I payed a visit to this business. My job is stressful and I had put on alittle weight in the past year that I wasn't happy about. I joined a gym but I though this might help too. The first visit I told her my concerns and she told me it could be a result of side effects of the meds I was on which I already knew. She told me that she would figure out a plan and find out if my insurance worked with her services. They were supposed to call me on a Monday to tell me if my insurance worked before I went to the visit on thuesday. I called them at the end of the day Monday and they told me my insurance doesn't work with them. I went to my second visit anyway to see if we could work out a payment plan. I got changed she came in and told me " I have some bad news" the news was my insurance doesn't work with her service. I already knew that. She told me that she wanted to see me 10 times at 80 dollars a pop. I wasn't able to come up with 800 dollars right then and there but I would have been able to work on a payment plan. She then made me feel like since I couldn't pay right then that I wasn't ever going to be able to afford her services. which I found to be very rude. She then told me that I would need nothing less then 10 visits back to back because I figured that if she doesn't intervene that I could "probably" gain another 25 lbs in the next few months. REALY! so to end this she was assuming that I was BROKE and that I was FAT and was getting fatter by the minute. my thoughts are that she was upset my insurance didn't work out because she could have charged the insurance a greater rate then what she would get from an individual. Being a healthcare provider I am disgusted by her customer care

    Hypnosis For Healing

Hypnosis for Healing with Jim Lee…read more The actual hypnosis takes 20 minutes. The process explanation can be completed in 10 minutes, but instead is dragged out. It's the same information provided in the consultation. The remaining 1 to 1.5 hours ( he will tell you the session may take up to 2hrs) is nothing more than Mr. Lee trying to sell you two more sessions. He will tell you that he usually only has to see people for 3 visits in an attempt to convince you of his credibility and success. Maybe that's true. And while it's a good strategy, you shouldn't have to pay for his sales pitch at $85. per hour. I visited Mr. Lee to relieve chronic pain. He makes the claim that he has 100% success, however, there is zero evidence of that claim. Nor did I buy into it. But I'm open to trying things, so, I gave it shot. Takeaways: The hypnosis is supposed to "anchor" you to do a relaxation exercise. Truth is, the exercise given can be effective without hypnosis. It's basically meditation. It's taking a few moments out of your day to stop, focus and be in the moment, relaxing your mind and body. A handout for tapping (EFT) is provided in the session. It's a very simple technique. You can find the same thing online. His hand out, I discovered, actually misses one step. Both meditation and EFT can be practiced and yield results without hypnosis. And both are free. :) Do I believe I was hypnotized. No. A big believer in alternative treatments and medicine, I was open and receptive to the process, but I was not hypnotized. Would I recommend Mr. Lee? No. What works for some does not work for others, but I would not recommend him. What I would recommend is meditation. It can be as short or as long as you need or can do. There's a plethora of information available online, as well as free guided meditations. Look for meetup groups if you want to connect with people or a community who may have more experience that can help you. I'm still not sure about the effectiveness of tapping (EFT), but if you're interested, give it a go. Again, there is plenty of information available online on how to do that. It's very simple to do. I hope this helps.
