The professionals at the front desk and those who call you with results need to receive client service training. They do excel at rudeness and condescension.! Went there feeling very sick, and sent for lab work. Week later get a call by a "professional" above that it was a "virus," and can be treated with over the counter medication. Follow up with a "primary care" physician., etc. Essentially still ill,, but I now have useless information delivered in an obnoxious tone. I visited EFP this morning for ear issues. called around 9:00 am. I was helped by a very friendly phone rep and given a Choi e of some open appts in mornin and afternoon with the NP Matt Demtrak. I arrived, was checked in by very friendly young man . I did not even wait 5 minutes before I was called in to be seen by MaTy. I was greeted by the MOA Colleen. a very friendly and knowledgeable young lady. I only waited five minutes for Matt to come into check my ears. Matt is very knowledgeable and kind. He examined bot my ears, and determined I had wax to remove. Matt used a ear curette and removed was and worn no pain or difficulty. all in all, it was a very positive experience and I would recommend this walk-in and Matt very highly. read more

So "Dr" Rekha Patel was my GP. First experience, there is blood in my urine. But I stated I was in menopause, according to her I must be wrong. 1 week later in the ER with emergency surgery for a kidney stone. Second experience was after fall, I was still in pain, according to her she doesn't know what I expected her to do. That I probably just want more time off work. In reality I never took ANY time off work but something else must be wrong. She told me it was my job to call and ask Comp what to. I reached out to another source, that practice facilitated an MRI through Comp and it turned out to fracture pelvis. LAST experience, I had chronic cough for a month, again she didn't think anything could be wrong with me, didn't try any tests or offer any other solutions. Turned out to be covid before having covid was in vogue. That day I called and made an appointment to switch to another group from my car before I even left the parking lot. The nursing staff was great - but do yourself a favor and see your dog's favorite Vet before you see R. Patel! read more

They made two mistakes on two different walk-in visits with incorrect diagnoses. First time was a few years ago that they said the symptom of severe coughing was due to allergy but allergy medication didn't help. After getting a second opinion from my primary, it turned out to be pneumonia and antibiotics solved it! The second time was just this past week where the symptoms were coughing and sore throat and they gave me a strep test but told me I had COVID and asked me to quarantine. Four days later, they called me saying that they gave me the incorrect information where the test result was positive for strep throat and not COVID! This type of repeated mistakes is unacceptable and could have huge impacts on my health and the health of my family and people that I come in contact with. Furthermore, when they called to tell me the drug they are prescribing, they asked if amoxicillin is ok which it is. Then when I got the medicine from the pharmacy, it was penicillin! After inquiring, they once again apologized for the error! I cannot trust any information from them and I'll be going elsewhere. read more

Love love love our family Dr, Federico. Hands down the best doc we've ever had. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The receptionists can be really rude and nasty, and the hold time to speak to a human has at its peak been over an hour. Their bottom line is entirely about profit and not about the care of their patients. Ableist attitudes. They want you to schedule an appointment for any question you may have, even if you've just been seen. The people in billing are rude and inconsiderate. In the 5 years we've been going there, I have missed 3 appointments due to car trouble or circumstances out of my control. Now that we've all come down with Covid, they have decided they will not schedule us because of the last no show appointment. As a person with a history of mental health issues, it does happen that some days we cannot do what everyone else can. You'd think as a medical practice they would understand that concept. But they don't. We will be looking for another office. read more

I was not only new to this office, but new to the area. I didn't know when choosing a doctor who to pick or where to go. I got so lucky with Dr.Burford. She is very thoughtful and listens. this facility is not well equipped for privacy at the front counter, and the nurses can be very unprofessional. when I was late to an appointment I less than 10 minutes I was charged a $100 late fee and had to reschedule my appointment. But on numerous occasions when I am at my appointment on time I am not called back to the office for 20 to 25 minutes until after the appointment was scheduled. The staff shares personal bickering about patients amongst each other and treats patients differently that day. I have personal indifference to. The casual atmosphere, in which the staff discuss the patient's within earshot of the client is very discomforting. read more

The Walk In has always been a favorite for me when in need of instant care. There was a time when I went to the Walk In and the physician assistant there was strange~like I thought I was dreaming you know? He's gone! Perhaps it was a dream. I've had acupuncture here which was affordable and really well done by Dr. Elinoff.~yes, he knows his stuff. I had 4 treatments of the pins and needles which I could barely feel. I felt relief after the first treatment. Here at EFP you may even have a chance to be seen by a holistic practitioner offering Chinese herbal remedies. Dr. Floyd has been our doctor for many years and I can't say enough great things about him. I hate to see him lumped into an office with such negative views. He is compassionate, thorough, friendly and never makes you feel rushed. If only I could find a doctor in Florida as good as him I would be happy. This review is based on the last 3 visits to the walk-in over the past year. Each visit the waiting room was empty and we were taken in the patient room only to wait FOREVER, regardless if one or two providers was working. The last visit was a 5 minute visit and took over an hour with only 1 other patient being seen. I love Endwell Family but I will not be using the walk-in services again. UHS Vestal is far quicker and able to meet the needs of busy families that don't want to waste hours for a simple visit. read more

I would give this establishment 100% negative stars. The front desk staff can not input insurance information properly. The "billing department" or person in charge is either never there and/or never returns phone calls. The nurse practitioner's, playing doctor, will waste your time and then refer you to one of the MD's so they can double charge you for your visits. Also don't plan on leaving without a blood test everytime. The worst part was the incompetence when it came to care. Drained my health savings account with double visit billing and blood testing. I was having really painful health issues as a fairly young healthy man. Dr. Jonathan A. Harris offered me no help after well over a year of visits and pain. His medical license should be removed and he should retire immediately. I'm from Broome County. Grew up here and love it. I'm sad such a terrible establishment exists in our community. Terrible experience went there in horrible pain was treated like I was a drug seeker just because I am a chronic pain patient. The nurse practitioner, her name was Lori took a tongue depressor and tapped it several times on my very painful tooth, cause she didn't believe the tooth was causing me pain, she then proceeded to tell me there was nothing she could do for me and walked out of the room. Just because I am on a pain medication long term does not mean I still don't feel pain, all pain meds do is dull the pain if that, they do not take the pain away. No one should be treated the way this woman treated me today. She was rude, dismissive and uncompassionate. Terrible experience, we went to their walk-in on a Saturday afternoon and they were obviously grossly understaffed. My wife and I waited over 1.5 HOURS each time being told "you're next, only one person in front of you" as numerous other patients were called back! When we finally gave up and left we were told by the front desk person "but you're next" knowing at least 3 people who were called back hadn't come out of exam rooms! We'll NEVER go there again!!! That's why places like 5 Star Urgent Care are thriving!!! read more

Unfortunately giving negative stars is not an option because that would have been my choice. I am going to keep my story short, but I cannot recommend this group to anybody. Two of my grown children had horrible experiences at Endwell Family Physicians. One was misdiagnosed and his Lyme disease went unchecked for two months. The other was sent home with a prescription for antibiotics for an abscess on his tailbone and incurred an almost $6k er bill the next morning (after being up all night in excruciating pain). ER doc said it should have been lanced when he was seen by the doctor the previous day. I tried to get the office to at least pay the copays (about $1k), but they refused. This sent a signal to me that this office does not care about its patients, they just try to cover their a**es when something goes wrong. I love my Dr., he is great, don't get me wrong. However, what kind of practice drops you inadvertently after being your primary for TWENTY-THREE YEARS?! And then tells you that you had a $20 balance. But when you mention you were unaware, it's again your fault because they didn't send you a bill because APPARENTLY the woman at the desk told you last time it would be due in a month?!?! I'm sorry, but who the heck is going to remember that? I don't know about you, but I have a lot going on in my life and a lot of bills to pay. So when I ask if I can pay it and be done she says "You can pay it but we won't pick you back up as a patient" Are you effing kidding me? Having returned from Dallas, Texas after 13 years, it's great to see EFP still delivering high quality with some new staff. The Walk-In recently handled my 'double-sized big toe'. Friendly receptionist, experienced, caring and efficient nurse, and 20 min. after walking in Betsy Welch (nurse practitioner) methodically diagnosed the problem and gave me a helpful anatomy-of-the-foot mini-lesson. Within two hours, I was post X-ray at a UHS right near my house with Betsy delivering the good news by phone: normal X-ray, follow pain reduction / healing strategies. Dr. Holler remembered me from 13 years ago and I'm grateful to seamlessly continue as his patient; as a result of his insightful and thorough questioning, examination, explanation and encouragement, I'm finally going in for the colonoscopy I've been resisting. And with the brilliant and humorous Dr. Federico treating our three young children like his own (his are a bit younger), EFP is another big reason to smile about having moved back to the area! read more

I was encouraged by my son to switch from a practice where my primary changed 3 times in 2 years without my input. Since I have chosen Dr. Gasparis @ EFP, I feel like I am part of my health care team. The entire staff has been very respectful and friendly. The patient portal is very easy to use and staff response is timely. I have also been seen in the walk-in and the qauilty of care was again fantastic. I was in the ER with chest pain and Dr DeSantis came in to see me as part of her rounds that day. I also chose Endwell Family Physicians because they follow patients in the hospital on a weekly rotating basis. Being a retired nurse I am so satisfied with EFP. read more
