He measured the carpet wrong, had the installers come on the wrong date, and would NEVER communicate. I never received any paperwork i.e., receipts, warranty's, etc.. We had new carpet installed in our mountain home in Willowbrook. Matthew came to our house and…read morebrought samples. He was quick to hone in on our price point and we were given a quote on the spot. He ordered the carpet and worked around our schedule to get the installers to remove and install the carpet. It was a very easy process and looks great. I would say it's not a bargain (only slightly less than the competition) but looks fabulous and was a very easy process. You get what you pay for and I think we got a great looking carpet at a fair price with minimal hassle.

We recently had a wonderful experience with Greg and Blue River Contracting. We hired BRC to…read morecompletely remodel our master bathroom. We could not be happier with our decision. Greg (the company owner) is responsive, professional, and experienced. Greg has great vision and helped guide us through the whole process. He answers his phone, responds to text messages, and communicates clearly. We felt comfortable with having Greg in our house for three weeks and would undoubtedly do business with his company again. Greg completed our project in three weeks which we thought was reasonable for an entire master bath remodel. This included demolition down to the framing. Greg stayed within scope of the project and hired good help when needed. We really enjoyed that we did not need to direct the help (plumber, electrician, or tile guy) Greg made sure that he fully understood what we wanted and made sure it all happened. Greg was able to show us tile designs and even draw patterns on paper to ensure we would get what we wanted. Greg does very high quality work. The final product of our bathroom is absolutely stunning. I still walk in there each day and smile when I look around. His attention to detail right down to the trim is exceptional. We have already had several guests at the house and everyone is stunned when they walk in our new bathroom. Greg's standards are very high. If there was ever something that he felt needed adjustment, he would fix it. Nothing went overlooked or undone. The bottom line is that it's hard to find good contractors in Summit County that will stick to a schedule and timeline. Greg stuck to a schedule and actually tried his best to fit it around our work schedules while still getting the bathroom finished by our deadline. We will be using Greg again for more projects in the future.

It is with regret that I feel the need to write this review for Summit Contractor & Handyman, LLC,…read morebut I believe it's important to share our experience so others can make an informed decision. When we first met Javier and Astrid, they seemed like kind, trustworthy people. Unfortunately, the quality of the work did not reflect that first impression. I was also surprised to learn that, despite the company's name, they do not hold a contractor's license--only a business license. Javier painted our condo, but the workmanship was extremely poor. He painted over hardware. There was paint on the floors and furniture, and the job was left incomplete with numerous areas still requiring touch-ups. When we asked for the paint color so we could finish the work ourselves, he refused to provide it. Based on what we observed afterward, we came to believe that only primer had been applied rather than the Navajo White paint we had specifically requested. Ultimately two full days were spent cleaning up the mess. Our realtor, who has seen many homes over the years, commented that it was some of the poorest workmanship she had encountered. We were also charged for a new ceiling fan, but a used fan was installed instead. In addition, a chandelier was installed in the kitchen where a standard ceiling light fixture would have been more appropriate. These issues resulted in significant additional time, expense, and frustration. Looking back, I would have gladly paid more to hire an experienced professional who takes pride in their work. Based on our experience, the quality of the workmanship did not justify the amount we paid, and unfortunately I cannot recommend Summit Contractor & Handyman, LLC.

Great company - they have earned my business…read more I own a rental property in Breckenridge and needed carpet cleaning for a long-term tenant turnover. I spaced making an appointment until just a few days before my service need. As expected, my (much more established) previous vendor was booked - it's Novermber in Breckenridge - what was I thinking? Anyway, I called, left a message, and got a prompt return call from one of the owners, Pablo. He worked me in to his busy schedule with no penalty, took my lockbox code, and set everything up. On the service date something got sideways and no one showed up - I learned this form the tenant who was going to move in the next day. You might expect that this would ruin the experience; if it were a different situation, it might well have. But what separates HELP from many other competitors is how Pablo solved the problem. I called Pablo, he apologized, and I told him just to make it right. One of his staff got over there shortly and cleaned the carpets. Per the feedback I got from my tenant, the kid did a great job. The icing on the cake came this morning: Pablo called me personally after reviewing my invoice, apologized for the inconvenience, and applied a meaningful discount. I honestly wasn't even all that upset - it's turnover season in Breck and all of these guys are booked solid. I got an emergency schedule placement and sometimes things get mixed up. It happens. But Pablo went above and beyond expectations to make sure he corrected the problem. They've got a new client. Very happy.
