The store was bustling on the weekend but the lines weren't too long (perhaps 4-5 customers waiting). The clothing appeared similar in quality to that of H&M stores in the US, as were the price points -- which I assume was a huge attraction since the exchange rate is so high. I didn't get the chance to peruse for too long, but noted that the items were the same as in the States (see the website). Therefore, I didn't feel the need to buy anything. This location isn't too large, as the aisles were pretty narrow. Good place to pick up some pieces though particularly if you forgot to pack something.

The quality is so much better than the tights I have found at department stores in the states. I would liken the quality to Wolford, which costs upwards of 40 USD a pair! I wish I had purchased a dozen more pairs while I was here. The ladies working in this store were very friendly, spoke enough English to get through the transaction with ease and have a short chat about my hair and my cat. Unfortunately, it is unlikely I'll be going back to this specific Goldenpoint anytime soon, but I'm a customer for life and will definitely be purchasing tights off of their website!

This is not my first rodeo in an upscale store so I have no idea why I was intimidated. The staff was somewhat attentive and decent to work with. When I entered Burberry I was greeted by a very nice SA who was extremely helpful and patient. I knew what I was seeking and she not only located my item but she showed me other options and suggested that that I also try on my item with a thinner shirt just to see the difference, which she provided. I was quite impressed that she was able to tell me my size just by looking at me, glad she didn't guess larger lol. I was able to purchase my item and she explained that if I paid with visa or MasterCard my VAT is automatically applied, which was the first time I've been told that in all of my travels. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is due to other staff members banter. My card was declined initially and not due to no funds but my credit card automatically assumed fraud...since this is not my first rodeo I knew what to do but I didn't appreciate the other associates standing around watching and speaking about me. The SA was patient and unbothered which is why she still got the sale but my advice Burberry associates please don't make assumptions, typically those traveling from the States have the money and are well prepared to spend it due to the massive savings by not getting the luxury item in the states P.S The store policy doesn't allow you to use an outlet to charge your phone, so make sure you're completely charged :)

The store itself is a few stories tall, with handbags, luggage, and some accessories on the first floor and women's items upstairs. Both times I went, there was a line outside to get in and then another wait inside before being helped by a sales associate. Thankfully, when it was my turn, I ended up with the most wonderful sales associate. She first helped me with shoes, but since they didn't have the pair I wanted to try, I almost left. Instead, I wandered over to luggage--something I've always wanted to invest in--and ended up buying the cutest carry-on bag. While waiting for the stamping process on both the bag and a passport holder I purchased, I started eyeing one of their small flagship bags and ended up splurging on a gold exotic leather bag that I absolutely love. Throughout it all, my associate was thoughtful, offering us water and suggesting pieces without being pushy. Even with the crowds and wait times, she really made the experience enjoyable and memorable.

I suspect they have a few big retailers that carry it but have not seen it in Germany or Ireland. If you are after comfort and style you can't go wrong. Your wallet might be a whole lot lighter but hey good things don't come cheap. Besides when in Italy do what the Italians do eh....buy shoes and accessories ;-)) They have a full line of male and female shoes. For women if you like heels but not a fan of stiletto or thin pointy heels this is a great brand for shoe that are ultra comfortable with decent heels. My wife loves their stuff and also likes the fact that she can buy heels that are nice to walk in. For men there is a great selection of casual and dress shoes, belts, bags and so on. I do like their designs and seems a little bit more elegant and classy a look. As I discovered during our walks around Venice there is at least 3-4 shops from this brand spread out around town and it is much cheaper than buying top end stuff like Gucci and Prada and so on and actually of great quality.
