This location is right in the middle of all the other designer stores, just off the square, and it's always busy. The store itself is a few stories tall, with handbags, luggage, and some accessories on the first floor and women's items upstairs. Both times I went, there was a line outside to get in and then another wait inside before being helped by a sales associate. Thankfully, when it was my turn, I ended up with the most wonderful sales associate. She first helped me with shoes, but since they didn't have the pair I wanted to try, I almost left. Instead, I wandered over to luggage--something I've always wanted to invest in--and ended up buying the cutest carry-on bag. While waiting for the stamping process on both the bag and a passport holder I purchased, I started eyeing one of their small flagship bags and ended up splurging on a gold exotic leather bag that I absolutely love. Throughout it all, my associate was thoughtful, offering us water and suggesting pieces without being pushy. Absolutely horrible customer service. I pre-booked an appointment four days in advance and yet a guard left me standing on the street at the door. I shop in Louis Vuitton all over the world and was prepared to buy eight different items. But I will never spend my money in Louis Vuitton in Venice. In comparison, walked right across the alley to Hermes with no appointment, and they opened their door with a smile and three people greeting me. We first visited LV in Bologna. They didn't have the wallet I liked. So we popped into this LV. They had security and we edited a brief time for an associate to help us. She was friendly, helpful and prompt (we told her we were in a little bit of a time crunch). Helpful hint: you need your actual passport with you to be scanned for the sales tax to be returned to you at the airport. A copy of the passport won't suffice. This Louis Vuitton in Venice is one of the smaller Louis Vuitton stores in comparison to other stores I have visited. They still have the same best service, but a limited selection compared to the other Louis Vuitton stores. We received a lovely greeting as soon as we walked into the store. A beautiful lady asked if there was anything she could help with or what kind of products we were looking for in the store! Excellent service! The store is not very big. I noticed that they carried fewer items than the other stores we visited. Some of the styles are not available in this location! We decided not to make our choice in this store because of the limited selection after about 5-10 minutes. The store looks great. The location is excellent. The salespersons are very helpful and knowledgeable. I hope they have more room to display their products. read more

Francesca & the accounting manager are so incredibly rude. They were blaming us for their POS system not working. She repeated said it's American Express fault. I get that tech issues happen, or internet may go down, but with a luxury store and the experience that comes along side, don't be so rude to your loyal customers. At the end they barely apologize, they offered a private tour, but by that point they had pissed us off so much by blaming us & American Express that we wanted to just leave. read more

The store was much larger than the one in Florence so if you're in the northern half of Italy and looking to buy a Louis Vuitton this is a place to stop by. This was my first Louie purchased but compared to the prices back home in Las Vegas it was very reasonable, like 40% less and the selection was pretty huge. The salesperson also help walk me through going down to the Global Blue area to claim my VAT tax refund! That's right if your not living in the European union you can get a sweet large cash refund for shopping here! Honestly considering the reduced prices here and tax refunds it's almost worth it to save all your big exotic purchases for travel and the cost difference will just about pay for the trip depending on what you buy. Again the salesperson was very patient and extremely helpful with explaining everything which is a bit of a rarity in the city of Venice from my experience :-) read more

Everyone was super helpful and nice. I selected the Odeon because it's a cute easy carry purse. I forgot my credit card in the hotel room though and they were nice enough to put it on hold as it was the last one they had left in that model. I came back the next afternoon and purchased the bag. They were very helpful giving the information necessary to do the exchange at the airport for the euro credit. Beautiful store with great staff. Had a kind young man patiently pull multiple bags until I settled on the perfect purchase. Unfortunately, it was the last bag in stock and the leather was scratched. I had not even noticed and may not have until after purchase. He was quick and honest in pointing it out, even though it resulted in a lost sale. Integrity matters and I am so impressed with their customer service. I hated leaving without purchasing,but he checked the Florence stock for me and was able to refer me back to them to purchase, as that is where we were actually staying. This is the 4th LV store in 7 days that I'm checking out in EU since I'd been on a hunt for the Mini Pochette. I'm not sure what to think of the ladies behind the counter. Because Italians in general are very warm and friendly people. From the moment I walked in the shop, the ladies just stared at each other, like waiting for a queue on how to approach the customers. They're definitely lacking on some people skills unlike the Flagship Store in Paris. The one who assisted me was so clueless. Since coming from the US and knowing exactly what I like and how much I'm saving makes me an ideal customer. The young lady who assisted me was in awe when I told her about the make model and price. Since I'm dropping some serious €€€, I asked her for a glass of champagne. Not only did she took her time to wrap the men's wallet I purchased, she deliberately forgot to bring me the glass of champagne I requested . Holy Molly ... good thing I promised my teenage son his wallet or I'd end up dissing this store for poor customer service. There was some problem with the only credit card I brought with me but the ladies were really patient to get it to work as well as the tax refund form. This Louis Vuitton has to be one of my favorites by far. It is four stories high, each gorgeous floor beautifully laid out, with the top most floor a museum of sorts of Louis Vuitton history/art. The store itself is simply a work of art -- far more attractive than the neighboring Chanel or Hermes. Apparently, it just opened in late April of this year and it is simply a must for LV lovers. The entrance opens up to some of the newer limited edition items and the SA there Manuel was incredibly helpful and eager to show me the wares during our visit. I didn't care for the pieces or the prices, so we took the rounded stairs upwards, where the higher floors featured the women's classics, men's universe, and travel items. I wasn't as enamored with the sales associate in the women's section, but ended up purchasing the LV Eva for $200 less than what it would cost in the US (granted, I still haven't submitted my VAT refund form...). She did show me a number of pieces and calculated the cost after exchange and refund (which resulted in my purchase). Since we did make a purchase, I found that we were free to roam and explored the other levels and perused the items. I am still impressed with how every item was appointed in the store. Do note though, the handbag only came with the dustbag and brown LV bag -- no box. I emailed LV once I returned home and apparently boxes are no longer given for all purchases, they must be requested. A huge plus about this location? There is a hidden, most luxurious restroom in the men's universe with cloth towels. Seeing as how public, free restrooms are few and far between in Europe, including Venice, the restroom was almost a bit of a treat given the walk from our hotel. Apparently there is also a hidden room/salon on the third floor (or second floor, in Europe, as ground floor is zero) which we did not have the opportunity to access. Even if you have no intention of purchasing, I'd recommend a visit to admire the handbags and store. The former can last a lifetime with good care and the latter is an experience unto itself. read more

Many bags were sold out so they may want to work on their inventory but I still found 3 to purchase. Very helpful with city tips and suggestions. Went to all three CHANEL locations in Venice with intent to purchase but they were comically rude so I refused to buy a thing.
