Lots to try- Appetizers include: Spinach Artichoke Dip (delicious) New Whiskey Tips (delicious)(NEW not on menu yet) Fried Green Tomotoes(too salty) Chibatta bread w/basil and spice (good) Salad( amazingly fresh) We get a choice of: Pulo's Premium Kale Salad (huge) Hickory Grilled Salmon (grilled perfectly) Fish Tacos( 2 big juicy tacos) Sirloin Steak (looks great) Chicken Parmesan( looks great) Chicken Piccata (Dont see anyone that ordered it) Fillet Tips Pasta-- what I chose(EXCELLENT) The filet mignon steak tips were excellent....just how I was asked I would like them cooked, medium well..the pasta was ok it had aot of peppers, mushrooms and tomatoes in it. This place REALLY did well..... Even a full dessert!! Wow... First time here but not the last. They hosted a two-hour YELP event yesterday and I reluctantly went; was raining and not a big fan of Italian. Boy did they change my mind. The restaurant had plenty of parking and when I got there, the place was pretty busy for a Tuesday night at 6:30. Did not really spend time looking at restaurant layout because they had the YELP event in separate room. I did go through the bar area and I THINK they had a pretty good size bar and a great happy hour going on. They were gracious enough to host a sit-down dinner for all of us Yelpers. The Manager (I wish I had remembered her name so I could give her kudos for her efforts) came in and introduced herself and talked about the restaurant and our upcoming experience. We started out with appetizers including fried green tomatoes (first time for me) and very tasty but I must warn you they were a little spicy. They also had us try a dish they were starting as an appetizer called whiskey tips (I think). The steak tips were in a great sauce and included rectangular pita style bread. The taco chips and spinach dip was also very good; chips were fresh and just the right amount of salt. For dinner, I ordered the sirloin tip dinner with a salad. I asked for the dinner without pasta; just the tips and vegetables but no pasta. Meal came out perfectly and both the dinner and salad were excellent. They have a full bar, craft beer (+1) and both the service AND the food was top notch. It gets a 5 from me. I am going back. read more

Great event as usual organized by Stephanie! The service was great, the staff really went out of their way to make sure we had everything we could want. Appetizers- thought their take on fried green tomatoes was interesting and I liked the spice, but can definitely agree they'd be too hot for some. Spinach dip was tasty, but nothing special. The steak tips appetizer was very good and went quick at our table! Entree- I had the hickory grilled salmon, it was a nice portion and cooked spot on. The sweet potato side was weird, wouldn't do that one again. My wife had the fish tacos and they were tasty. Didn't do dessert but regretted that decision as we saw some great looking ones come out. They offered a good variety of drinks and we'll definitely be back to try them out again soon! read more

This was my first ever Yelp event and I had a great time, had a great time meeting people from different parts of Chattanooga. Thanks Stephanie! We were seated in our own private room which started with drinks and appetizers. We were able to try a couple different appetizers, spinach dip that was above average, fried green tomatoes (spicy!), and some amazing bourbon filet tips with pita bread. I had a Caesar salad and chicken picatta that had good capers and spices, it was a generous portion size. All the desserts looked great, but I decided on the cheesecake and was pleased. I'll be returning again to try some other dishes and I would recommend this place for sure. Puleo's Grille had great service as well! read more

Very good Yelp event! Very glad we came. Well done Stephanie. I tried the fried green tomatoes. Surprised at the level of spice but I really liked them. The Kale salad was very good, even if I am not really a salad person, but I was glad there was something on the menu I could eat! Good chibatta bread, perhaps my only very minor complaint was that the olive oil dipping sauce with basil was a bit too salty. But again... minor. And a good beer selection. First off, thank you to the staff and management at Puleo's for hosting the Yelp event. We appreciate your hospitality and the great food and drinks. It was an awesome way to spend an evening (mid-week) with cool people eating good food and enjoying a few drinks. I was sitting at a table with a mix of old and new Yelpers. Great conversation as we discussed the food scene in Chattanooga and even the rest of the country. It's funny how much we all have in common with other people. Even people that you just met... This was my first time at Puleo's and they did not disappoint. We started with appetizers: spinach and artichoke dip, fried green tomatoes, sirloin tips. All good stuff although the fried green tomatoes were on the spicy side so watch out. I was full by the time I got to the entree. I ordered the steak and hit the wall but it was quite tasty none the less. We finished up with dessert which was a huge slice of chocolate cake. I rolled out of Puleo's I was so full. We will be back to Puleo's again... Thanks to Stephanie for organizing another great event. I look forward to our next adventure and hope to see fellow Yelpers out and about. read more

Another amazing great yelp event!! Thnk you stephanie!! Lemonade was perfect not to accidic and nice and sweet. Puleo's Signature martini looked very elegant and tasted was very light and refreshing. It was almost tropical, citrusy and sweet with no achoholic after taste. It's signature punch is unlike anything else. My favorite was the dirty martini it was madeby the manager dawn and honestly it was made with gray goose and it has been the best dirty martini!!!! Ice cream martini again light in alcohol and soft creamy elegant in flavor. Cosmopolitan is again very light in flavor iced and fruity. Spinach dip was superb.... savory and delicious, heavy in creamy flavor. Burbon filets with pita bread and saute mushrooms were my favorite appetizer! The tips were super tender sweet and perfect...the mushroom were delish and pita was fresh. Fried green tomatoes with grits and 2 gravies white and brown.the fried tomatoes were savory and spicy with a corneal breading and i enjoyed their full favor...the grits were delicious and creamy and the gravies were creamy and nice tasting. The cibatta rolls and oil were the right temperature and baked fresh Side salad with avocado ranch was not a small portion. Greens were very fresh! The dressing was thick in substance but it had just the right taste. This was a pleasant addition to my meal. Servers sam was super friendly! Sam was very curtious and eager to please. Lisa was great at helping samantha with my table...very friendly and knowlegeble...great smile and attitude. Lisa came in on her day off just to be part of this event! She worked very hard and we noticed she was the last one to make sure everything nice and tidy. Manager dawn was very organized Friendly and passionate about her job. This was my first Yelp party. It was very well organized and Stephanie is a very nice and gracious host. She went around and spoke to all the reviewers that were present. The menu was organized and had a good variety of food to choose from. You got 2 free drinks to try from the bar and soda, tea were free. All the free takeaway yelp prizes were very cool, especially the playing cards. It was fun and looking forward to the next one. read more
