I acquired the tree cutting services of Tonner Bros Tree Service to cut down a maple tree that had…read moredamage to it from a previous wind storm years back and was on its last legs They were recommended on a referral from a family member of mine After getting the tree reviewed by the local town services, I had confirmed that the tree was on my property and that I did not need a permit to cutting it down I dealt with Kiefer and he came to evaluate the tree and price it out I also requested to get the branches trimmed on my neighbors tree as it was hanging over my property The total price to cutting down the tree and the trimming was a great price overall The guys game early in the morning and were finished in the early afternoon It was a three man crew and they were able to get it all done in a good time They cleaned up the property, sidewalk and road efficiently and cut down the wood to the logs we were looking for I am really happy with the work that was done and would highly recommend them if you need work done for your trees Thanks again to Kiefer and Dylan and your team for the work done today

After that meeting I asked for an email outlining the services & the cost on various projects. NOTHING, no communications back. We left many emails, text, voicemails & even enquired if everything was alright with them. Crickets, nothing back. Very concerning that even if they do not want to do our property for what ever reason(s) that Nick does not have the Professional Courtesy to get back after verbally agreeing to move forward. It seems to be a pattern of maintenance companies in the area that you have to chase them & chase them & they never get back. These are not slanderous remarks, or vindictive comments, they are actual excerpts from the messages I received from him, all of which are saved on my end. 'you want truck loads of dirt brought in then when the driveway fails you want to make it some one else's fault and problem. (Probably the plan in the first place)' - This in itself if extremely defamatory to us and is completely out of line. In previous messages he acknowledged that he knew of the possibility of damage occurring, but failed to notify us of such. If he had, we never would have agreed to trucks being brought in and would have come up with another solution. 'I was trying to set up asphalt run when the trucks are back in our area then you decided to post a review on yelp.' - claims that he was in the process of setting up repair on our driveway, although there was no communication of such for months, but because I wanted to share my experience with this company in a public forum he has decided he will not be following through with which he is legally obligated to do 'I plan on doing nothing more at your place. You can loose my number.' - his spelling, not mine. The most unprofessional and disrespectful response I could have ever received from a business owner. We gave him more than enough time to correct things, but he has refused to take responsibility We will now be forced to take the next step (legal/insurance) to have this situation corrected.
