As of this date our driveway has still not been repaired. Upon not hearing anything in months I decided to follow up. After sending a second follow up I finally received a response, which was absolutely disgusting and appalling. I have never been treated so poorly by a business in my entire life. These are not slanderous remarks, or vindictive comments, they are actual excerpts from the messages I received from him, all of which are saved on my end.
'you want truck loads of dirt brought in then when the driveway fails you want to make it some one else's fault and problem. (Probably the plan in the first place)' - This in itself if extremely defamatory to us and is completely out of line. In previous messages he acknowledged that he knew of the possibility of damage occurring, but failed to notify us of such. If he had, we never would have agreed to trucks being brought in and would have come up with another solution.
'I was trying to set up asphalt run when the trucks are back in our area then you decided to post a review on yelp.' - claims that he was in the process of setting up repair on our driveway, although there was no communication of such for months, but because I wanted to share my experience with this company in a public forum he has decided he will not be following through with which he is legally obligated to do
'I plan on doing nothing more at your place. You can loose my number.' - his spelling, not mine. The most unprofessional and disrespectful response I could have ever received from a business owner. We gave him more than enough time to correct things, but he has refused to take responsibility
We will now be forced to take the next step (legal/insurance) to have this situation corrected. read more
