She was supposed to be sedated and when she tried to inform the staff that she could feel everything, she was completely ignored. Imagine someone jabbing huge needles deep into your gums without being numbed ahead of time. Imagine someone yanking mercilessly on your teeth and ripping them out without ever bothering to ask if you are actually numb. My mother has had teeth removed before, she's had root canals and many surgeries on other parts of her body. She is more than used to pain. This experience and this pain was nothing like anything else she's been through. She is completely traumatized and will absolutely never return to this sadist. As a surgeon, causing some measure of pain is inevitable, but not having any concern whatsoever for the comfort and sanity of your patients is completely unacceptable. Run far and fast.
