We wanted to leave our kid for a week in this daycare because our daycare was closed for vacation…read moreduring 2 weeks. We regretted. We have been allowed to access the videos that show what's happening during the day. Believe me, we didn't wait the end of the day to remove our Kid from this place and never bring it anymore. They were brusque with him and the other kids. We've seen one of the girls forcing him to release his bunny because they said: "he can't have it when he eats". They have a very particular way to get the kids to sleep, they just show no love, no emotions, put them on the bed and swing them strongly until they fall asleep. We assisted to a fire alarm exercise and that was just worrying. People seem to be annoyed when I left him and I had to wait until they agree who is going to take him from my arms. You definitely don't want your kid stay in those hands.

I took CanSTEM's Calculus and Vectors program (MCV4U) and it was one of the best decisions I could…read morehave taken for my education. The price of their courses is cheap compared to what you'll find in other private schools. The teachers and principal are very easy to reach and communicate with. The course work is very fair, and even if you are struggling you can easily get help from the teachers. Overall it was an amazing experience and I recommend it to any student who's interested in Private School

I am very dissatisfied with the way the administrator at Mindtech has been handling parents'…read moreinquiries. They were very ignorant to parents' rights and times. They refuse to pay back the money they owe to the public and have made a habit of taking parents' money like this. Their school policies are absurd and they (the two brother owners) don't even follow their own policies. They are very poor communicators and very ignorant and oppressive. My daughter loved the two teacher she had there, but the emotional stress that Mr. Akbar imposed on our family traumatized my daughter, and now she would not even want to enter the school parking lot. Please, please, please beware and do not waste your time and money!!!

There are some differences between the programs outlined on the website and how the classes are structured (ages in each classroom didn't match when our child was there), as well as some closures on days other than stat holidays. There is little communication between the administration and parents, which is frustrating when changes are taking place (e.g. teachers moving classrooms, upcoming closures), or there are events that parents could participate in (e.g. bake sales).

This was still during the pandemic so we were quite lucky to get a spot. We still felt sad when our toddler will cry for us when we left, but with time, she grew to love the place! She has always been excited to see her friends here. We have kept in touch with some and still have playdates. Debra is the director there and has always been since we started here, we trust her 110% to hire the best and trustworthy teachers for our kid and do activities to keep their learning enriched. Debra is friendly and open to chat and answer any questions or concerns. Debra will also do nice things for the community like collect things when we gave some books to a family who lost their home in a fire. We have had some great teachers, shout out to Miss Ayesha!

My younger son, now 4 and off to jk, has also been prepared for the journey by Purple Tree staff, despite difficulties in speech and behavioural issues they had to face. A big thanks to Debra, Natasha, Divya and Michelle. I know my kids have a love for the classroom setting thanks to you guys :) It is also very clean, I loved the menus every week, and daily updates on the porch. I did have previous criticisms of the centre but Purple Tree is always striving to do better and improvement has been seen over the years I have sent my children there and I know they are always trying to be the best for our kids.

Young Minds Montessori is a wonderful place for a child to grow in and learn life skills. My little…read moredaughter started at Young Minds when she was only 18 months old and I can confidently say that sending her Young Minds was the best decision we have made for her. We initially looked for a place that would have great menu, because after seeing nachos on the menu of a toddler was not very appealing to our household. Young Minds has a great in house chef that prepares meals for the children daily. Since her enrollment our daughter has mastered so many skills and has become so independent. The school environment is warm and organized. Children are always well taken care and receive an individualized approach which is so very important. We are sending our little son in January to follow his sister's footsteps at Young Minds.
