People hear…read morethat it is a Girl Guide Hostel/Hotel and think they can't stay there but that couldn't be far from the truth. No granted the building is usually filled with girls and young women staying there with their guides or troops, but anyone can stay there and the staff make you feel so welcome and comfortable. Plus you have the most amazing location for a great value! The people really know the area and the staff/volunteers are made up of people from around the world so not only do you get to experience the UK but you also get to interact and meet people from all over the world. Literally! You are just a 5 minute walk or less from the London Tube and only 15 from Central London. They will help you plan activities and keep you busy thoughout your adventures in this amazing city. I can't wait to get back there! Olympics perhaps?!! They fill up fast!

There are not many shoes or bags here. The selection of clothes are pretty good and the prices are pretty low. You have a little cubicle with a curtain to try on clothes. It was here that I decided to go on a diet and I've lost a stone. Come for this reason. There are often designer bits here due to the areas proximity to Hampstead, Swiss Cottage, Saint John's Wood etc. The average skirt will run you about 10-12 pounds, a shirt 5-10 pounds. This shop also does a nice selection of coats. This shop doesn't have a charity shop vibe actually because it is nicely laid out and the people who shop here have taste.
