This is probably one of the better Oxfam's I've been in, it's located at the top end of the high street in the middle of fork in the road. It's unmissable given it's vast signage and quirky shape.
I'm not a huge fan of Oxfam as far as charity shops go, I find them over managed and over priced, but this one is well laid-out and carries a good range of stock arranged in a fashion to maxmise it's browsing potential, it has been known to contain some real gems if you know what you're looking for, although the real gems are usually well weeded out by Oxfam incorporated before any members of the public can make a quick buck.
Well worth a look, and with it's multiple access points it a great stop when the rain starts! read more
This oxfam store has provided me with many books while growing up. It is well laid out, better than most charity stores but, as is often the case with oxfam stores, especially in the wake of cheaper clothes shops around, I find them to be overpriced and have, on occasion, seen second hand garments that I own costing more in Oxfam than they did to me first hand. However, the staff here are very pleasant and is worth a browse round. read more
