Well, it's an Oxfam Shop - so you know what to expect. The secondhand clothes are rather on the expensive side, but only really well kept pieces end in the shop. Tops and bottoms are sorted according to colour which is helpful. There are more clothes in larger sizes than in your average secondhand shops.
It's always well worth to check out the glasses and bric-a-brac section for an unusual piece. The window display is changed bi- weekly - the currently displayed items are not for regular sale but can be bought at a kind of auction every Wednesday (I've never made it there on a Wednesday, so I can't really describe the procedure).
In addition there are products like tea and coffee from fair trade to be had, as well as information on Oxfam projects. Most of the staff are voluntary workers and the proceeds go to development aid projects of Oxfam. read more
