These items can be unused envelopes, half used paint pots, card, leather, leatherette pieces and offcuts, wool, material, post, foam, stickers, tiles. Some items are used, some are new and surplus to requirements. You can go to scrapstore and fill a bag with things that is then weighed. It costs 40p per kilogram, but if you join for a yearly membership of £12, then all costs are halved! There are also some things that are available only online and things are priced individually here. You can log on at scrapstore so you can equest online and pick things up at the same time. Yet again the crooks that run it, conned me out of my merchandise. This is the 3rd and final time I will EVER enter that crook infested hovel. Ok I've only got myself to blame for my infallible trust in seeing only the good in my fellow human beings. I could blame the traffic for being 5 minutes late to collect my item from Cash CONverters but I won`t. It's totally my fault! These things happen to the best of us... but being told by the owner that if I returned before 9:30am the next day everything would be fine and I could have my item back. Great I thought, finally some compassion is being shown by the stony faced patronizing lady owner!! I almost forgot my previous experiences after she said that. I returned at opening time the next morning full of smiles and happy expectations.....SMACK.. that didn't last long. I was told by a young, eager to impress his boss, spotty kid that unfortunately my item had been transferred to the sales department and I`d have to buy it back at full retail price now! I confidently laughed and said there must be a mistake, the owner told me only last night that if I returned today bla bla bla,.... But no.... this new info had come from the boss herself he replied. "There's nothing we can do about it Sir" he kept repeating!! A de ja vu feeling ran through me!! It reminded me of when I pawned my £400 laptop for a £50 loan at the same store and broke down on my way home from London while on my way to the store and after explain the situation I was told that's it's ok, come in the next day and everything will be fine! And I expect you've already guessed? My laptop had miraculously been sold overnight?! "There's nothing we can do about it Sir" It also reminded me when I stupidly pawned some medals and was told the extra items in the box I should keep in there and they would keep them safe. I won't go into details but the extra items disappeared and because they weren't listed they didn't exist!! Anyway, my point is this... Cash CONverters in Northgate St Ipswich is worth avoiding like the plague!! If you want to pawn something go to Cash Exchange in Tacket St. My partner forgot about an item she'd pawned, phoned up a week later and they graciously had kept it for her and allowed her to get it back!! Cash Exchange get 10 stars outta 5!! Cash CONverters don't deserve one star!!

This Evolution in Ipswich town centre has been here for a long time. I used to go to it to buy my…read moremum blue glass items for christmas and birthdays and this was one of the only places to get them at a reasonable price. Now after all these years my kids go here to buy me presents for bithdays and christmas shows how times have changed but some things just stay the same. Obviously the items for sale have moved on with the times, they just sell quirky pieces that are not the same as everywhere else. They are a much more personal present something a little different. The staff are friendly and helpfull and will wrap items if you need them done too. There are a couple of steps in the shop but if you have a buggy they jump to help before you could even think of asking. A great place to buy that extra speacial gift.
