The story and history behind this place is amazing and I love to see how well kept everything is, here. Highly recommend giving yourself a couple of hours to explore because there is so much to see! They close at 5pm and we arrived around 4:30pm, so not enough time to explore the museum, maybe next time. We were able to take several photos of the arboretum and let me tell you, you cannot take a bad picture here - everything is stellar!

Artist Michael Smith was hired to paint the new mural that continued the theme of strong German heritage in developing the area. The mural has many images including the flags for the Sister Cities, the courthouse, the Jasper City Mill, The Jasper Depot, furniture manufacturing, and logging. At the top, the mural reads: Jasper Born from Rich Soil. A banner across the bottom reads: Built on strong work ethic and entrepreneurship. The mural is still in good condition and filled with bright colors. The only negative I've uncovered is that there has been some feedback that no women are portrayed in the mural which is supposed to be inclusive of all that makes Jasper great. Review #3195

The six scenes are: the hookah smoking caterpillar; Alice holding her cat, with the Cheshire Cat in the background; the Queen of Hearts' frog servants; the Queen of Hearts; the Mad Hatter; and the White Rabbit. Nulu is stocked full of awesome and beautiful public art works. Thai Alice and wonderland rendering has added to that. So detailed, specific and well done. Everytime I walk by it I notice a detail that I haven't before. Overall a beautiful and wonderfully done piece of public art. I can see it becoming a favorite of many inside the city.

A bunch of twisted piping that at the beginning of it says the words "Louisville". I'm not sure the purpose or what it represents and after the words Lousiville it's kinda a mess and hard to determine what the design is. Overall it's still a unique piece to the city and kinda cool. In a weird spot so I'm not sure how much exposure it gets as the one way street people usually have merged on the expressway before hitting the underpass.

Yes there were two but doubtful they were the 6 oz each as listed. The brew cheese sauce was very runny and caused the buns to fall apart when I picked it up. Burger was very well done as well. Side of sweet potato waffle fries were placed in a small dish barely allowing for a small handful. Pickles on the burger were an up charge. Definitely did not curb the burger craving. I pushed my reservations aside and ordered the dessert. Went with a slice of strawberry cheese cake. Server said they did not have any last time it was ordered but she would check. Viola! Came back with a slice.. though it was missing the strawberries. Away she went and returned with only a strawberry sauce. At this point I'm all in so I drizzled the sauce over the slice. Went to cut into it only to find the gorgeous looking slice was frozen solid. Ugggg . Walked it to the bar and asked for my check and explained the slice issue. This place has so much potential but is utterly failing on the food side.
