The guy at the desk was nice enough, but when we took our car load of luggage, four year old and 1 year old to what was supposed to be our room it was occupied. Thankfully when my husband opened the door and noticed the turned back sheets and drinks on the table no one yelled at us. (It was late in the evening) We took our entire family and load back to the front desk and were given an apology, a free drink from a vending machine, and a key for another room. We walked in to a filthy room! The floor had crushed up food everywhere! The shower floor had hair and filth all over! So frustrating! I couldn't even put my baby on the floor to crawl around. Apparently they need help in the cleaning/preparing rooms department. My advice, for the money we spent...I suggest you try another location.

Although we had requested a pet-friendly room, I don't think urine stains, lingering odors, and fleas are acceptable--especially when paying good money for a stay. The walls were dirty, and the furnishings were very outdated, which only added to the unpleasant atmosphere. When we voiced our concerns, the front desk offered us the only other available pet-friendly room, but it was even worse. Their only solution was to spray the carpet with cleaner to mask the smell, which was hardly reassuring. We were exhausted, but I was ready to leave, even if it meant losing the money for the night. However, a kind staff member noticed we were upset and came over to ask if there was a problem. I showed her the room, and her immediate reaction was that it smelled terrible. She went to the front desk and, surprisingly, managed to find a more acceptable room for us--one she personally checked before offering it. They claimed it had just become available due to a cancellation, but considering the hotel was maybe a quarter full, I found that hard to believe. In the end, we stayed because we were tired and the new room, while still dated, at least didn't smell. My advice: if you're traveling with a pet, look for another place to stay. Even if you're not, I'd recommend a different hotel, as I found the staff to be less than honest. The hotel next door looked much better, and the helpful staff member even suggested we stay there next time.

The iron didn't spit white deposits on my clothing, and I don't think you could beat the phenomenal water pressure! However, I'm a stickler for a spotless bathroom. While most of the tub was clean, there was the dreaded orange ring of bacteria around the tub drain. Also, the water wouldn't drain well even when the stopper was removed. These are some easy fixes and overall it's a good stay for the price.

We arrived around midnight, and the person at the front desk was very friendly and helpful in getting our room checked in. The room was very clean, it smelled good (not in a bleach or Lysol way). The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was awesome. When we got up in the morning, the food was all ready prepared in the lobby. There was more than what we expected. They had biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage patties and links, yogurt, cereal, and a juice machine that had four or five different types of juices. Everything was excellent. There was a large room with tables where you could watch TV while eating. They also had a complete coffee bar. Everyone we met there was so nice and helpful. We will definitely be returning.
