I ordered herb crusted fillet of cod, expecting a fairly light meal for that time of the evening, but it was presented 'swimming' in a very thick white wine sauce, which I thought ruined it. Also, my wife ordered a sirloin steak cooked medium, which was more well done. It's unfortunate the food was disappointing because the rest of the experience was pretty good.

The staff are very friendly the service is topnotch…read more The premises itself is quite small however the people that attend this bar are very warm hearted and great craic! There is live music on saturday and sunday. It is essential that you be there early to get a seat. The bar food is reported to be very good and is only served at lunch time. Its a nice place to call into after a hard day shopping or just to experience the old premises itself! Many a Derry person likes this bar and its up there with the best.

For service, they were friendly and attentive, which was appreciated (with the exception of trying to pay, which did take a little bit to do since we weren't told the restaurant requires paying at the bar).
